my e8400 so hard to get 4.5ghz .. well its C0 step anyway
currently running at 440x9 at 1.37vcore ..
highest i get is 4.4ghz and fsb is 550fsb only .. now hunting for ram with great capability during o`clocking

well i need 1.37v to reach 4.05ghz and mine is E0.

LOL, just noticed that. The MemSet readings is faulty. I'm running my RAMs at stock 800mhz.

hi guys.. reading tro' all the guides provided in the 1st page but somehow still cant figure out whats wrong with my OC profile...

i'm using biostar tp43 mobo... e6750 coupled with AC freezer 7 pro... 2x1g ballistix + 2x1g ballistix tracer (4 sticks at 800MHz)... i'm stucked with FSB 413MHz.. the RAM at 988MHz on 5-5-5-18... no matter how i increase my Vcore or Vdimm.. i still cant the RAM more than 988MHz nor hitting further than FSB 413MHz... any idea? or am i being too greedy? hope OC sifoo here can shed some light..

may b ur ram chip hav the limitation as it is not D9 chip as old batch... and u muz c ur ram divider as well....

surely mine is not double sided chip as i have checked it through.. not that lucky! haha... but i thought all crucial ram uses D9? just whether is it D9GMH or D9KGX or D9blablabla... if not lucky, then get lousy siblings of D9.. am i right on this?

do u mean fsb to ram ratio? i'm running on 5:6..

set ur fsb:ram to 1:1 then u can OC more fsb.
mayb u need to increase your nb voltage aswell.

hengmy is rite...1 : 1 is the stable wan...

in that case means that in order for me to hit 1000MHz on my RAM.. my proc would be doing 4GHz? the optimal Vcore for E6750 is below 1.4V rite? how about NB Voltage?

In order to hit 1000mhz for your RAM, you need to hit 500FSB. Minimal multiplier for E6750 is x6? That'd be 3ghz...

with QX6800 flooded LYN tradezone, i demand OC result!!

if wan real powerr oc go for Q9600 E0 steppings... 4ghz no problem i think, provided got good mobo
