Nice result BTW..

hahahaa well said, laugh.gif i wonder why my temp at stock speed can climb as high as 70C even when idle, later i found out that HSF full with dust blink.gif
having clean up that mess, temp drop to 46-48 (stock @ idle)

its just stock cooling BTW icon_rolleyes.gif 3.0Ghz, idle around 58C, full load 69-70C

Added on October 19, 2008, 8:04 amforgot to tell, its undervolt, 1.312vcore , maybe can go higher if i pump more vcore, but not dare to do that, temp at full load already reach 70C, sweat.gif

I'm very sure that 965P-DS4 support the 45nm processors. I went to Gigabyte website to confirm that and I saw in forums, people running E8400 on 965P-DS3 even. -.-
*
check mobo revision first... for example, only rev 3.3 of 965P-DS3 support 45nm & 1333 fsb cpu

i've chnge my cooler to S1283 yesterday, and i'm really impress with the temp, before this, full load at 3.01Ghz sure will hit 70C, but now its only up to 55 C

the problem is, i cant get it stable if push beyond 431fsb... tried 450fsb and increase vcore step by step till 1.45, VTT +0.2, vMCH +0.1 all fail, what should i do cry.gif is my cpu hitting fsb wall edi?

BTW: here is my spec

E6300
GA-P965-DS3 F13
2x2gb gskill PC8000

increase the vcore more, my fsb max is around 490mhz. but to get at that speed i really need to pump a lot of vcore.
