QUOTE(jujx @ Sep 9 2010, 10:09 AM) yes, Galaxy Tab that can only use Wifi. Since android can do wireless tethering using mobile network So then, when you travel abroad example anywhere else that no WiFi connectivity available, you can't surf internet at all right as only 2G is supported (errmmm, maybe can but a slower I think?).. I think it's not possible bro..This post has been edited by faridaizuddin: Sep 9 2010, 10:30 AM |

no, do you know what is wireless tethering? Means, Use your phone become a wifi modem. The phone change the edge/2G/3G to become wireless.
Then you use the Galaxy Tab to use that wifi(mifi since is mobile) |

Android is not ready to be used on tablets yet, says Google's director of mobile products, Hugo Barra.
Barra said Google wouldn't allow its app store on tablets because the applications wouldn't run properly on the bigger screens. "If you want Android market on that platform, the apps just wouldn't run, [Froyo] is just not designed for that form factor," says Barra. He hinted that future versions of Android will be modified to operate better on a tablet computer. http://www.techradar.com/news/phone-and-co...tablets--715550 |

QUOTE(MyWifeCar @ Sep 11 2010, 10:22 AM) Most apps will work as can be seen in the Galaxy tab. Some apps the developer will need to redevelop it for the bigger screen. Is same as the iPad,to date only 25000 apps are for iPAD while the rest of the 200000 apps are still in iphone format. Trying to use the ipad to use these non iPAD compatible apps is just a double magnified size - the graphic resolution is terrible especially on letters/graphics . Such apps you are seeing just a 6.5 to 7" display on a 9 " screen. I have given up using most of such apps until the developer does a iPAD versionThis post has been edited by benny888: Sep 11 2010, 10:38 AM |
