how come more gentleman than rafa bro?
now that MON is available, we have a better option

petre not following? whistling.gif

me having a subtle dig at the expense of the anti rafa brigade brows.gif

but as RH is english, he is culturally expected not to take pot shots (at fergie), speak out (for players?), expected to apologise to fans, praise (oppositions for beating LFc).

typical english brows.gif

jokes aside, yes sometimes being 'english' is to be admired. we usually see dignified response when attacked (media). Sometimes a cleaver worded response to the media can/will uplift the team, because he is admired & seemed to be a thinking man. unfortunately all can be said of shankly.

MON? no. to sink to replace RH for MON is asking the board to shot themselves in the head.

seriously.. why people kept wanting O'neil as resplacement for RH? it's not a step up at all.. he is more or less the same as RH. even worse wth monkey like OTT celebration. and it's not that the club got the money to pay RH compensation also. wtf?

it's not the liverpool way to sack a manager only after a few games.. but still nowadays who knows eh?

Why Martin O'Neil resigned from AV?
Lack of transfer kit?
So, do we have transfer kit @ Liverpool?

Damn right you are. Rafa left because the boards didn't want to guarantee him money for transfers as well. Heck, no new manager likes to work in a team without a proper transfer kit and with all the media focusing their spotlight on you. Roy Hodgson actually waited for news about the England job before coming to us.

O'NEIL resign because he have been force to sell his best player (mainly because big offer coming in and player want to leave) but the main problem is the board refuse to let him have 100% of the fund of those he sold to reinforce the team. I can feel his frustration, every year u have to sell ur best player and then u cant reinforce ur team.

For once i think the american hire RH is mainly because he is those manager that can work with minimum budget and wont complain much on it. I dont see him getting sack unless LIVERPOOL are at the risk of relegation. But i think he will not last long at LIVERPOOL if a new rich owner come in later.

Had the chance to watch Carling Cup last nite. It was a typical liverpool performance, plenty of possession but lacking of ideas to create chances.

No standout performance from anyone in particular. Milan was ok beating his marker in 1 or 2 occasions. Babel and Pacheco had the opportunity to shine.

I noticed that Pacheco likes to play high tempo pass n move football but unable to do that with the players around him.

On the positive side, Agger is getting more comfortable playing as centre back, bringing ball from penalty area to start attack on few occasions.

Let's hope for a better performance tomorrow.

No difference with us really. Remember Alonso's transfer money ? It went missing too. We could only afford installments for the italian guy.

Well, not questioning his leadership lar...It's just that there seems to be no regular backup of captains beside the VC Carra...

When both of them absence, we have Kuyt, Reina, Lucas, Masch(before he left) and Agger.....

Kuyt, Masch and Agger during Rafa's time...

And RH, started preseason with lucas with the armband....And during Europa League too...

Then, we have Reina for the Europa league too....

Just all of a sudden, Krygiakos get the armband instead of Agger or Lucas....Weird, I must say it is....

back then, to the americans, he (rafa) a noisy, irritant spanish control freak that could undermined their efforts to cash in on the sale of LFc.

EMAIL TEMPLATE:

Dear Sirs,

If your company agrees a £280million refinancing deal with Tom Hicks to retain his share in Liverpool Football Club, then the only return that you will see on your investment is bad publicity and a severe backlash from Liverpool supporters worldwide.

As you are aware, Hicks is trying to refinance his debt to the Royal Bank of Scotland before October 6th so that he can continue his disastrous ownership of Liverpool Football Club.

You are facing an energized, well-informed mass of Liverpool fans from around the world. We are tapped into a constant stream of information on the ownership situation. Every day, dozens of web forums buzz with the latest news. Protest marches, newspaper ads, boycotts and billboards are organized. Every move Hicks makes is scrutinized. And every associate of his is warned.

Refinancing is our nightmare scenario. Anybody who helps Tom Hicks refinance will become our primary target. Just ask the Blackstone Group / GSO Capital Partners who received approximately 7,000 emails in the space of a few days from disgruntled Liverpool fans following refinancing talks with Hicks. They soon saw sense and ended negotiations with Hicks after Liverpool supporters bombarded them with emails and phone calls.

The Sun Newspaper is another organisation who have felt the wrath of Liverpool fans following their disgraceful coverage of the Hillsborough Disaster in 1989. The boycott of the newspaper by Liverpool fans is said to have cost News International an estimated £10 million a year.

If you join Tom Hicks in raping and pillaging Liverpool Football Club, then you will be making a very powerful enemy.

You have been warned.

Yours faithfully,

KOP FAITHFUL
