Reading the the comments by Mr.Warden here, I think he got a point there where he paints a picture about the bleak future of Man Utd. Like us, they are stuck with those vampire yanks and are in debt, 5 times bigger than us. Its only a matter of time until they start to do ala Liverpool "Sell to Buy".Its evident this season, the players the bring in are not as big as the past few seasons. The institutions of one of Britain's greatest club is crumbling. Winning on the pitch is one thing, but in order to maintain that win, they need to spend. And spending is not what they have in mind.

as for the play acting, well, you can't deny Nani did a lot of play acting in Sunday's game.

Since when did we not accept that we lost? We have lost since the beginning of the season. RH came in, the two clowns not selling, potential loan to cover their current's, etc. I for one kept thinking, so what if JOS didn't get sent off, if he did, we might not had scored the 2nd as everything changes. Carra is getting older, Johnson should be RM rather then RB. We defended most of the game. Rather negative approach in that game, no doubt. Torres still finding back his form and the fact that the supply for him is limited is obvious.

So we lost at OT and all the media's are making a food out of us. Just to be honest, how many ppl did actually expect us to come out top against Man-U in OT, with our current form.

We lost, end of story. Next game ahead.

im a liverpool fan, have been for 10 years now... i know theres others here who have been a fan/supporter for much much longer. and to say we cannot accept losing is absurd. we have been losing soooo many vital game for as long as i can remember... losing at OT was expected, as much as i expect to lose at S.Bridge. its normal.

and whats the point of pointing out the SAME OLD VIDEO of Gerrard diving? Is that really the best argument you trolls can come up with? So Gerrard dived a few times? are you going to question his abilities? might as well say Ronaldo is not a good player coz he trips on grass every 5 minutes. Or saying Nani is a bad player coz he cant walk right and trips every 5 seconds. All are good players, diving has become a 'technique' (if u will) and part of the game. yes, its cheating, and refs are trying hard to clamp down divers. live with it.

i for one didnt say we in liverpoolfc dont play-act. i can honestly say that gerrard went down quite easily on a few occasions before to win a penalty and stuff like that. yes, steven gerrard. heck even the best goes down to ground too easily at times these days. even drogba. ronaldo. u name it, they have done that. what disgust me was the way nani went down to ground rolling not once, not twice, but on a few occasions when i blv the contact were minimal at times. its a sad look in football these days, that players con referees to get penalties, free kicks or even try to get the opponent booked, and us fans dont understand how much pressure referees and their assistants face these days, this will forever be an on-going problem and there will be no end. imo i think this is one of the reasons that make the game beautiful, human error, whether its disallowing a legit goal n etc.

With regard to Torres-Oshea incident, I saw many people claiming that even if Torres was not fouled, VDS will surely get to the ball first so that's why Webb gave a yellow. Well I'm not truly convinced.

IMO, Oshea should have been red carded... im not going to compare it with other fouls in OTHER matches. coz every match is different. whether or not Torres will beat VDS to the ball is questionable. regardless, we scored from said foul.

anyway, man u deservingly won the match with a superb display by berbatov (often named BerbaFLOP)... for me, its his time to shine when rooney is not.

I still love liverpool, but I dont defend play-acting, its disgusting and shameful when a player overdoes it, especially a player with caliber.
