I thought we stop playing after the 2nd goal and seem happy with the draw. They have been relying on Berbatov so far this season so i'm not surprised to see him scored the winner.

ON the positive note, we have already played Man City, Arsenal, ManU (n Burm away ;-p)

we just get confident & then suddenly jova came for mereiles?WTF....i think meireles play good at the right hand side...very good ball he deliver for torres....the scums that cross for berba should not exist on the filed..WTH referee thinking....

What I saw:
1. Torres wins Rooney but Berbatov owns both.
2. Joe Cole has nobody to support him thruout the game. No mutual understanding yet.
3. The sub out of Meireles is such an idiot act. I know we'll lose our shares of midfield control, but it's much worse than expected.
4. Anything from air we losses... Awful...
5. I feel lucky to only lose by one goal... If not due to Torres' moments of individual brilliance we'd been humiliated.

Nani is a disgrace to football. Might as well join Hollywood.

RH was way too negative with his tactics today. We showed no ambition whatsoever in the 1st half. We only played better when we were 2-0 down. But other than that, it was a very disappointing performance. Aerial defense is letting us down again btw..

I think Roy have to work on the defense. It looks shaky....

He needs to take a gamble too, by playing ryan babel and joe cole as winger together.

Ref has been treating us better and u still complain... A fair ref will send us to hell...

the thing is,can we builld on today's game and improve?

2 goals we scored not from open played..
i wonder if this is the best that we can played with our best line up...lucas didn't play..
if so..i think this season gonna be another mid table finish..

same story...

2 world class player surrounded by a couple of ordinary Joe..

what are we without Torres and Gerrard?

previously, we will say sell those 2 and get a huge profit and shore up the squad...

now? sell those 2 to pay bank loan....!!

but when the right time comes..they deliver...

i hope Cole, Raul and 1-2 more will step up.....5-6 consistently performing player might help us avoid the drop!

Poulsen was really good.

Other than that, we were dreadful.

It think it was a good game from liverpool despite the lost. Im quite happy with midfield keeping the ball in the middle.

The only problem with the tactics today is that our midfielders didn't feed the ball to Torres like the previous games. We had many passes but most of them didn't get to Torres at all. Of course he's not having a great game. Hats off to Berba though, I have to admit he was brilliant in finishing today.
Look on the brighter side guys, so far most of the top teams we've played on away. I just hope that when they come to Anfield, we'll turn the tables around.

Well, he have a really tough opener to the season. now that is out of the way, its time to collect points to finish 6th!

A few points that can be taken from this match :

1. Torres caused problems to the defence and create both for Gerrard to score...hope he continues his rehab to 100% a.s.a.p
2. Raul Meireles has his 1st start to the BPL and he looks good. Tidy and did some good forward runs, but he still doesn't look comfortable around his new teammates yet.
3. Joe Cole hasn't click well with the players yet, maybe he need some time. He seems better to partner Torres up front though.
4. Maxi hasn't got his confidence yet, perhaps give more play time to Ryan Babel?
5. Carra is outmuscled by Berbatov, seems like his age is catching up...
6. Berbatov is getting back his good form from his Spurs days...which is 3 seasons late. He seems on top of the world today as all his goals were well taken and Reina can't do much about it. :/

2nd that. I did not see our centerbacks pumping long balls forward anymore, we kept the ball well. Even my frens who doesn't watch football goes like " Wa liverpool actually kept the ball very well. "

i think it is a good game by 'gerrard' despite the lost.

nuff said.

I seriously think that Babel could've started this game instead of Maxi. He's been awful for the past couple of games replacing Kuyt on the right.

then the ref is worse than i say he is
