nope, the G73 series has the rubberize lid, while the G53 series has a matte surface...

Added on December 8, 2010, 2:10 pmbtw, this is my opinion.. but matte surfaces are much cooler... which explains my choice of gadgets... the roccat kave is matte the G700 is matte tongue.gif

The only down side is, it's quite hard to clean, you cant just grab any random piece of tissue like what i did with M1530. The tissue actually leave small pieces on the rubberised surface with is even hard to clean.

Other than that, i think it's comfortable, and it wont be too cold for comfort if your room is cold.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the second mice which Razer produce in glossy surface.

If you are a palm gripper, this mouse is certainly not a mice for you. wink.gif

yes its definitely not for me. Okay... rubberize/matte... they're nearly the same to me... so i just checked... yea the finish is rubberize but it looks matte too... just the feeling.

@cheese, i use the silk cloth you get in glasses cases to clean my laptop. Works perfectly picks up all the dust...

Hey guys , am buying a new gaming notebook .

Was still considering between M15x and Asus G73JH-BST7. Any user of Asus G73JH-BST7 would wanna share their experience with me , as i could find quite lil review of it on the net , they usually do Asus G73JH-A1 or A2.

Many Thanks smile.gif
