Just a quick question - does this CSL tablet has a LAN line input jack? Meaning can I plug in a wired internet cable line to it and use it to get online? Also how many USB port ?

Sorry if these questions have been asked before... some feedback please.

That RM1k diff. is for the 1ghz hummingbird....On contract,Galaxy Tab is closer to the Mi700 at RM1.7k. No matter what, this thing will need a sim card. Choice of either on contract or not is yours smile.gif

no LAN & std USB port... mini usb = yes...
most of 7" tablet may left those port( lan and std usb) behind becauseof the idea is to get them "wire-less" for mobility..however some of 10" tablet may got Lan & usb port.

yup. Simcard is for users with 3G simcard for mobility, even without any public wifi access areas.

as long as there is a network accessible, you can use the 3G simcard.

applies for tablet with 3G built it...otherwise, you can use mobile wifi...to access the internet from your tablet .

tajm is a widget. you need to add it on your homescreen. longpress on any clear screen area and follow onscreen prompts to add widgets to your homescreen.

Hi, I'm new in this forum.

Have been using csl droidpad for the last 3 weeks and wish to share some of the problems that I encountered:

1. failed to sync my desktop outlook 2007 calendar to the droidpad's calendar.
2. able to play "assassins creed" but the game intro video failed to run.
3. document to go would hang when I tried to open big pdf (about 400 pages) or powerpoint files.

Anybody faced the same problems? Any solution?

Syncs with my office MS Exchange just ok, outlook email and calendar. No idea about assassins creed game. What app you using to open the pdf? Adobe android app or 3rd party?

shark7, for home launcher, try Launcher Pro = can make something almost HTC Sense like. ADW = Samsung Touchwiz like. Don't really spend time on the homescreen layout. Technically, you can make it look like anything you want.

When you open a big file, it will take time to load and if you are impatient then it looks like it hang, actually it is just loading.

For those who have bought the CSL, can you check with the shops on the battery issue.

Since the battery for the tablet is built into the unit. All batteries have life cycle of how many charges before need to be replaced.

How many time can be used ?

Find out after the battery life cycle is used up, can they change or replace the internal battery for a new one ?? And expected price for this replacement battery.

Important otherwise you have to carry the charger with you always.
