if u see the words "not charging"when ur ipad is connected to ur pc with the usb cable, it can actually recharge albeit much slower. I hae to agree putting ur ipad in sleep mode will charge ur ipad faster though it cant beat the charging time via adaptor.

just curious, those files that we transfer to ipad cannot be transferred back to pc? and i dont mean those songs or movies we transfer to ipod or movies, i mean those pdf files we transfer to ibook or cloudreader.

@bidfordub: When I connected my iPad to my MacBook's USB, it said "Not charging". It was at 28% when I plugged it in. After about 2 hours of being plugged in with the "Not charging" label replacing the battery icon, the percentage of battery power was still 28%. How does that explain it being charged?

I extract files from my iPod Touch/iPad by using Senuti. It does the opposite of iTunes. iTunes transfer files from your Mac/PC to your iPod/iPad whereas Senuti transfer files from your iPod Touch/iPad to your Mac. Hope that answers your question.

Just downloaded Air Video free version but immediately at lost where to hook up my iPad and pc...hope it's not too much to ask your help to provide step by step here. I believe a lot of noobies like myself will appreciate very much.

still not understand your question... you wanted to remove the black bar right? normally just double tab the movie screen....

ipad is 4:3...then that's hard to remove it..unless you edit the whole video clip.
forget about that, that information i got was my ipod touch haha, not ipad...

but actually it is pointless to remove the black bar, because they intend to make the film longer (now days, all TV and monitor are 16:9 ) bla bla... that one you need research why film format is 16:9, not 4:3 anymore....

@Agito666: It's because iPad isn't "officially" supported by Facebook so when you run the Facebook app on your iPad which was meant for iPhone, your posts will be "from iPhone" and not iPad.

How bout ipod touch ?

@Agito666: If it's iPod Touch, it also states from "iPhone". I doubt anyone bothers whether it shows "iPod Touch/iPhone/iPad" unless you wanna show off.

mine was different. after 2 or 3 hours the battery life will definitely be more now. you try to google and see, there are some info regarding this.

i plug the usb cable to my pc...it state not charging but after overnight it gone from 40~% to 100~%

Which section of the NS highway. The DIGI works ok for me johor baru till kl , which I take every forhight. Was on kl to Ipoh 2 days ago, no issue. My travel on bus

Maxis has 3G coverage during most of the stretch of North-South Expressway. Not sure which part doesn't have coverage but most parts have it.

The Air Video in your iPad is one part. You need to go to Air Video website to download the Air Video Program for your PC (i assusme you are using Windows PC). This program must be installed in your PC for it to act as the Server to your Ipad App in your Ipad.

You need to complete the Part 2 as shown in the web page.

After that you need to link the two up i.e
1 Start the PC Air Video first.
2 In the "Remote" tab, copy down the "Server PIN" number
3 Start the Air Video App on your Ipad - In there key in the Server Pin from above - this should then connect the Ipad to your PC

After that browse from your Ipad whic movie you want to watch.
As for either "Live Conversion" or just "Convert", I have alredy described that in my Post.
Just go and try it yourself.

*** I forgot. When you start the Air Video in your PC, go to the "Shared Folders" tab. You need to add which Folders in your PC containing Videos that you allow to be viewed.
