I saw in headjam that a new DDM is on its way, and apparently been so for quite a while, I'm so outdated. laugh.gif
Just when I was about to buy a DDM, something new came crashing the party. Being a slow money saver does have its benefits after all. tongue.gif

Well, just pick one of the two. laugh.gif from what I heard, they are more or less different in terms of focus in sound production. But, since I've never even tried auditioned it before I can't really say much nor give a review comment. ohmy.gif

The new DDM is kinda like the design of Sony MDR EX85LP with "earbud style IEM" and i think for those complaining on the fit, it should be all right.
The current version of DDM really tame on the high, i think good fr those sensitive to hissing and high pitch sound, like me. ;p But to some of them, they feel that it lack of details. If they can improve a bit on the high, it should be a very good IEM for the price.

For me, I do like having that extra bit of energy at the top end. The website says around a 3dB reduction in lower frequencies so that wouldn't make it that less bassy. Female vocals might improve(some reviewers say female vocals lack a bit with the current DDM), and strings would sound better me thinks. biggrin.gif

The gap between the new DDM and the DBA-02 will be a bit closer. These two are still going to be my pick for my next purchase. It's just a matter of when the new DDM comes out. It would be a bit less of a gamble in terms of fit(as I can't try one personally).
