Doubt it will be that expensive.
Saw in US the price from an authorized distributor at USD250 around RM800.
EDIT: Saw it retail at amazon for $500++, now almost 50% discount, good time to buy now if less than rm1k.

I too would like to know, or better yet... a comparison between the FAD FI-BA-SS, Westones es5, JH16pro and JH13pro.

That FAD is a universal innit? They're just expensive but many comment it to not have the sound you'd expect with the price tag. The Westone and the JHAs are customs, they're in a different league altogether.

When's V3 coming? I have a dual-driver dilemma I want to solve. tongue.gif

Yea, the FAD is a universal IEM with a single moving armature driver I believe. I personally thought the FAD sounded 'better' than the demo unit JH13 I auditioned @ Jabens but that's just me. I'm also aware that they're just demo units and are not customized to fit my ears personally for the best sound experience. I'd still like to know how much different the sound is of an actual custom JH13/16 compared to the FAD. If anyone has tried both of these could you please give your thoughts and impressions on the matter? I have a JH13 / FAD dilemma here.

Haha must u wait v3 to post? Anyway that's what I am thinking on universal and customs.
Custom, as the word says is made personalized for that particular person. That's also consider a disadvantage for me as u cannot share ur joy with others. Custom all sound great and it will be greater when u got perfect fit. Especially the bass and detail part, non of the custom buyer is not satisfy with their custom, but to me if u think FAD is better, the signature is what u like u prolly go for it without regrets, plus u can share it among friends and families.

Yea, not being able to share the joy of music with friends and family is a minus. Btw, will you guys be bringing in Sony's MDR EX1000 IEM? I so wanna give them a try! biggrin.gif

Oooh, it's a coincidence that I just read about them. laugh.gif
Very cool looking, and over the ear some more. There's also the cheaper EX600. Good accessory but dunno if they're going to be as harsh as the EX700. Tried that one, didn't like the higher mids.

Yes I'm digging the looks of their new flagship as well! I've never heard the other two you mentioned, perhaps it's time to pay Jaben another visit tongue.gif
