it is useful if say i'm cruising on 6th gear, but want some overtaking power, i just press the downshift button and it goes to 5th gear immedietly.
up to you if you want the DSG to do all the work, but there are times when i need to control the gear manually.

the DSG is super responsive that's why i am wondering why the need for paddle shifts...
i was cruising at 6 when i wanted to overtake, i just tapped the accelerator and the gear shifted to 3rd immediately! instantaneous power... geng
