@hacksrider: i personally would go for the tsi. 5 year warranty for peace of mind. plus, the gaps in real world performance is not that big. the mk5 is starting to look really dated too, as there are many mk6s otr.

Personally I have gone and tested out numerous 2nd hand Mk5 about and most of them at that time were either the 2005 models or 2007 models (WALD editions and none WALD edition). After a lot of consideration, I decided to go for the TSI mainly because

1) peace of mind, because it is a new car I know there is no previous owner who might have brought their car to the track and whacked up the insides of the car
2) The 5-year warranty program by VW
3) I prefer the looks of the Mk6 more than the Mk5 although a lot of people who own the Mk5 says that the Mk5 is the prettier one tongue.gif

Probably Puspakom or JPJ also con them. Its a whole vicious cycle, gone through the same thing. Most of the time, JPJ or Puspakom will cause the delay.

The waiting game cannot be entirely blamed on the sales agent. But they should know better and not make empty promises like that.

guys, i just got myself a polo, was delivered to me last thursday from Cergaz Autohaus.

so far, im quite impressed with the engine, eventhought its 1.2, i can still smoke the much more powerful car than mine due to its pickup (tested @ Sg. Besi highway).

just wondering if anyone is going to establish a VW Polo club for Malaysia ?

anyway, regarding Sierra Glow, will it damage the paint for my Polo? I have no experience regarding this. hope someone can explain a bit to me...

Honestly, its hard to give a comparison mainly because its two different type of cars. But if you are comparing both, based on price, I would assume you are looking at the 320i?

Here are some differences between the Roc and the BMW.
- Roc is CBU unit, BMW is CKD (go read some of the forumers comments here that the 320i has quite a bad built quality, I have a friend who sent in his BMW 320i three times because the components inside the car was vibrating like mad and making a lot of noise).
- Roc has more power output
- Roc is not as common as the BMW
- BMW still holds the prestige as a premium car, perception wise, it would appeal more to a larger group of people (e.g. parents/family won't say why la you buy a 2 door car)
- Roc's maintenance is cheaper compared to BMW
- Personally I think the Roc is better looking
- Roc has only two doors, very inconvenient
- Can't really fit more than a single golf bag unless you bring down the seats

bro,

mine is candy white. a guy by the name Ungku helped me all the way, from trade in my old car, transfer insurance ncd, ap, transfer old car number to polo, jpj, puspakom, everything...

so far, everything was quite smooth to me, i waited about 1 week after i settled all the necessary documents from EON bank, JPJ, and Volkswagen...

i didnt know got this kind of problem 1 ? i considered my transaction with them quite smooth...
