i am more interested in RNS510, but it cost 1500 SGD.. shit..  maybe getting a taiwan replica, i saw some forumer let go second hand set at 450SGD.

how much the cost of the Golf 1.4 tsi after discounts and rebates u guys get it?

and..how long is the current generation lifespan of the car? anyone mind to help?

how much u think can sell ar ? if can then i sell n upgrade basically bcoz i hate the "blueish" color of the screen... wud hav been nice if they just kept it WHITE & BLACK / RED like the MFD color...

No idea yet at the moment. Need to see who wants to buy it first haha. If I am not mistaken, brand new from VW is RM3k haha.

Damn... it's raining.. and my gti is wet liao... no porch with roof for my gti at home... booo hooooo.... all shaded places taken up liao!!!

Honestly, its hard to give a comparison mainly because its two different type of cars. But if you are comparing both, based on price, I would assume you are looking at the 320i?

Here are some differences between the Roc and the BMW.
- Roc is CBU unit, BMW is CKD (go read some of the forumers comments here that the 320i has quite a bad built quality, I have a friend who sent in his BMW 320i three times because the components inside the car was vibrating like mad and making a lot of noise).
- Roc has more power output
- Roc is not as common as the BMW
- BMW still holds the prestige as a premium car, perception wise, it would appeal more to a larger group of people (e.g. parents/family won't say why la you buy a 2 door car)
- Roc's maintenance is cheaper compared to BMW
- Personally I think the Roc is better looking
- Roc has only two doors, very inconvenient
- Can't really fit more than a single golf bag unless you bring down the seats

Yeah, one thing my friend today noticed was that I told him that after I did Sierra Glow yesterday, I got caught in the rain. Then he said, "oh then you washed the car after that?". I said no, SG recommended no car wash 24 hours after the procedure. And his response was like, "Wow even after getting caught in the rain, the car was still so shiny with NO watermarks visible".

SG totally rocks!

But my windows are a different story
