VMware takes up a lot of resources, on top of TWO operating systems. Don't expect any sort of good frame rate with that setup.

The biggest difference between Windows and OSX is DirectX. DirectX just handles game rendering so much better than OpenGL. However I'm not sure what the recent graphics update for the OSX has done for this.

gonna get an external hard drive soon and am just wondering if its THAT important to get a drive that is "mac ready" instead of the typical PC ones. cant i just reformat the PC ones to FAT32 and use it on the mac? i plan to partition the drive to HFS+ and FAT32. The HFS+ for time machine and the FAT32 for my windows and mac files. Any problem with this?

Ahh what I meant was can VMware boot up only one OS. But I'm assuming from your answer, no smile.gif

If I am not mistaken,
You have either dragged/accidentally dragged a file to the top on the window before(where the '?' is) and you deleted that file

just boot natively to windows , thats all

Anyway I've managed to get MW2 to work in OSX , mp works great (its non-steam but I've the original version , had to patch it to work with private servers and stuff) , but then its a proof of concept that we can play windows games @ osx !
