QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Sep 11 2010, 03:03 PM) Hmm does Vmware allow that? There is a huge different using on Mac and windows is it? VMware takes up a lot of resources, on top of TWO operating systems. Don't expect any sort of good frame rate with that setup. The biggest difference between Windows and OSX is DirectX. DirectX just handles game rendering so much better than OpenGL. However I'm not sure what the recent graphics update for the OSX has done for this.

gonna get an external hard drive soon and am just wondering if its THAT important to get a drive that is "mac ready" instead of the typical PC ones. cant i just reformat the PC ones to FAT32 and use it on the mac? i plan to partition the drive to HFS+ and FAT32. The HFS+ for time machine and the FAT32 for my windows and mac files. Any problem with this?
