nope, that period of promo is passed, which is around may 2010.

it's sort of like 2times 'BIG' promos per year, may booking = jan-jun, nov booking= july-nov. (something like tat)

Looks like there are still enough tickets to go around. I found Perth, Melbourne and Gold Coast for around RM500-550 return in November (late spring). Not as cheap as RM0 fare which would be around RM300 all in but decent prices.

I booked a return flight on AA just now - I did not notice that AA automatically added 20kg each way before i pressed "pay". I thought that if i did not choose any luggage it means that i don't want any check-in luggage.

Is there any way i can change this now? ie no check-in luggage going outbound and

a. transfer all the luggage allowance to my trip coming back to malaysia?

or

b. cancel all the check-in luggage entirely and get a refund?

thank you.

JustAsking,

Nope, i don think is possible. u can only upgrade the baggage allowances, not downgrade it

Well, these are some of the 'tricks' on AA's site, which u hav to be careful. doh.gif The other one is the option for Insurance

Yes the cheapest seat to Melbourne is going for RM 544 all inclusive return. I think most ppl were expecting some ZERO fares instead of low fares.

I dun think AAX ever promote any zero fare...Even their promotional opening fare to Korea also RM74 or RM99 inc of tax on way.. Problem is return ticket, the airport tax is so expensive..I think Aussie destination, Aussie Airports charging> RM170 tax per pax? Those China setination also charging expensive airport tax (~RM110) mad.gif

Earlier few posting..cybermaster made a comparison wth other airlines to London..AA might not be a good choice eventhough abit cheaper as you are not actually fly to London but London outskirt..the land transport there might not be cheap and also inflight foods & etc.

thanks for the reply Kucing!

Since i now have 20kg luggage allowance, if i upgrade to 30kg for my return trip to Msia:-

1. do i just pay the difference between 20kg and 30kg?
2. does it mean i get 30kg luggage or 20+30kg luggage

sorry, if this sounds silly but i really dont know. thanks for your advice.

2. nope, u only get 30kg, not 20+30

AA lands in Stanstead. Actually all airports is in outskirts incld Heathrow. If there's tube connection to Stanstead, then transport will not be too expensive

AAX did have RM0 fare but that was in 2009. Got tickets to Gold Coast for RM313 return. Haven't seen anything recently though.
