Nobody interested to book Tokyo & Osaka of AAX's promo of RM199 ?
AAX's Baggage and Pick-A-Seat charges are much higher than AA's... why the difference ?

The fare was cheaper only 1 way. Not 2 way. mad.gif

Yea that seems to be Air Asia's strategy.
Even for the Bangkok bound flight, flying back from BKK is slightly more expensive

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before but I felt so backdated.

Just found out that KLIA2 is about 43% done and AA & AAX will be flying from there when it is completed in Oct 2012!

Hopefully the taxes will not increase too much from the before though. Otherwise, it's great to be getting a new LCCT!

Sometimes i find AA tickets are much more expensive than MAS.
If they want to set a normal price at least please lower a bit from MAS price.
How I can pay more for a low cost flight than a premium flight.

Doesn't matter for the first/last name issue. Both A B C and B C A are acceptable.

WONG AH BENG. Normally on airlines ticket, your name will appear as AH BENG WONG.

As far as i remember, yes. You do need to enter your IC number when booking an Air Asia ticket. However, this is not required when buying a MAS ticket.

I don't think that will work.

The most also they refund you the airport tax only.

Depending on how u key-in the "First name" and "Last name/Surname". I'm chinese, I like to put my family name in "First name", while I have friend like to put his family name as "Surname". Both also ok. It will appear either "Mr WONG, AH BENG" or "Mr AH BENG, WONG".

Some corrections to my earlier post. Apparently we are not required to enter our MyKad or passport number when buying a ticket from Air Asia just like MAS. However, we do need to enter our date of birth while this is not required when booking a MAS ticket. I just found out last night when i helped a friend to book a ticket. Sorry for the misleading information earlier.

The universally accepted standard is AH BENG in the First Name column and WONG in the Last Name column. Some airlines specially state Last Name/Surname so that you will key in your surname in the Last Name column.

When i check the KL - Seoul - KL price for a return ticket only is RM234 but if just buy 1 way Seoul - KL is RM300.
Why is it so?
Is this means that buying ticket for return flight is cheaper compare to 1 way?

I think the fare differs because of the currency you are paying for, and also AA does a lil price differentiation here.
Generally its cheaper to buy a return.. for instance Singapore.. if you were to buy a one way from Singapore to KL its going to be more expensive because its in SGD ( perhaps priced higher as well )
But if you do a return from KL-Singapore, you would expect to pay a slightly lower fare than that.
