Hi guys, i got a question here. Do i need to enter my IC number on the airasia ticket booking? And also the first and last name problems, do i need to correct it as same as my IC? Like A B C in IC, but booking ticket there is B C A...
WONG AH BENG. Normally on airlines ticket, your name will appear as AH BENG WONG.

Thanks for ur reply. So do i need to enter IC number on it?
As far as i remember, yes. You do need to enter your IC number when booking an Air Asia ticket. However, this is not required when buying a MAS ticket.

Some corrections to my earlier post. Apparently we are not required to enter our MyKad or passport number when buying a ticket from Air Asia just like MAS. However, we do need to enter our date of birth while this is not required when booking a MAS ticket. I just found out last night when i helped a friend to book a ticket. Sorry for the misleading information earlier.

Depending on how u key-in the "First name" and "Last name/Surname". I'm chinese, I like to put my family name in "First name", while I have friend like to put his family name as "Surname". Both also ok. It will appear either "Mr WONG, AH BENG" or "Mr AH BENG, WONG".
The universally accepted standard is AH BENG in the First Name column and WONG in the Last Name column. Some airlines specially state Last Name/Surname so that you will key in your surname in the Last Name column.
