Greetings,

I did a Web-Check-In recently and did not take the Supersize Baggage option, i.e. meaning no luggage check-in.

Is it possible to still check-in my luggage at the airport for an additional charge?

Thanks notworthy.gif

In case u just overlook, u still can buy/upgrade the baggage allowance eventhough u already check-in...
just amend it through MANAGE MY BOOKING and then reprint the amended boarding pass...

Otherwise u can just buy at the counter before boarding..

Are you sure? I called up the customer service and they confirmed with me that I would not be able to amend anymore after web check in (for Manage My Booking that is).

Hi all,

Is it ok if I buy adult ticket for my 8 years old sister? No difference right?

Coz if I buy 1 adult and 1 children, the fares for both is expensive by rm10 for both tickets sleep.gif

So, i wanna be cheapskate dun wanna pay the extra rm10, i buy both ticket separately.

Anyone experience this before?

But its from my experience la...(during last raya return flights and coming 26th flight)...
i usually travel with ma wife & kid and flying frequently KL-KK....So being cheapsket, ill strategies my booking like these laugh.gif :

Whenever there is cheap tickets, i just bought and pay the tickets without all other optional services (i.e. advance seat, baggage, meals)...
So if for some reason we couldnt fly on the booked date, i dont lose too much money to forgo the tickets....
Only if confirm, then i will add baggage, meals and advance seat (if necessary)....NOTE:for meal you need to book 48 hours before flight...

I also web check-in immediately after paid the ticket (previously 7 days before flight date) without any in-flight service....Why???
Coz when check-in early, there is high tendency you will be seated next to each other (if you travel more than one person in the same itinerary)....
This kinda necessary when u travel with family & kids... so i will save money for advance seat... tongue.gif
Otherwise your seats will be scattered around (system auto allocate)....

If after self check-in i change/upgrade any in-flight service, i just reprint the boarding pass accordingly....

Ah ok, thanks for the thorough review. I'll keep this in mind.

I'm always so silly to book the luggage, meal and what not because i didn't know i could do it at a later time when AA's server is less busy.

Duh!!

have anyone won any free vouchers from Airasia?? I have won a complimentary hotel vouchers from Airasia for a 2 night stay at Parc Sovereign Hotel in SIngapore. I called the hotel for reservation but the staff told me that the voucher is only valid if the booking is done by Airasia. When I asked them how to contact Airasia because I dont want to call the stupid fxxxking expensive hotline, then say they can;t help me.

I called Airasiago and they seems to know nothing about this kind of free vouchers.. I am just curious as there are so many people winning prizes from Airasia, does anyone ever encounter this problem??

Please helpp!!!

MY passport is expiring (July 2012) and I intend to book a flight on June 2012. I haven’t got my passport renew and would probably do so in a week time. So my questions is:-

1) Does AA allow me to book my intended trip in June 2012 using my current passport?
2) Can I change my passport details upon getting a renewal especially when I purchased a Promo ticket in this case?

Please help. Thanks.

Added on September 20, 2011, 10:10 amI tried booking on AA website. It prompted a sorry note and advised that I should have a 6 months validity passport to travel. However, it allows me to proceed up to the CC payment.

Anyone experience such problem before?

You do not need passport to purchase, just DOB will do. But you'll need to update your passport before boarding the plane (with the passport eligible of course)
