are you sure its the DA and not your mobo problem?
have u tried it on a different PC? different USB port?

Added on August 15, 2010, 1:21 pmjust a quick one between carcharias / orca / siberia v2.

both razer ones got way more bass than v2, while the v2 has more highs.
but nothing really that EQ'ing cant help, all 3 are still clear enough.

between carcharias and orca...the orca just sounds fuller with more low-mids which i guess is reflected in the orca specs with a wider lower frequency range.
basically if u dont need a mic, and can live with the fluorescent green finish, then the orca is a better buy.

Yes. Currently using Windows 7 and i tested on other PC with Windows XP.
For my Windows XP PC, everytime its restart the PC, the DA whell scroll will blinking until it loaded to windows.

For my windows 7 PC, it is always on(wheel scroll blue color) while the PC is shutdown.

So this is the DA problems right? Is it possible to make RMA? This is a common issue happen while im google-ing the details for DA problems.

Nothing works at all. Can i directly go the ban leong for RMA? I heard the sometime Ban Leong will ask you to deal with you dealer. Not direct to Ban Leong.

oh yea, orca earpads can also be detached / changed like the carcharias.
basically construction is 95% similar since got no mic, just the orca sounds slightly better.
and yea, should be due september...or maybe by end of this month...



btw, i still prefer my v2 cos the mic seems to pick up better.

i saw the reviews and they said the bass is lacking but audio is as good as 5HV2

Common perception that SS is lacking in bass. I used to think so too, until I got one. The bass is fine

best not to get piranha if you're wearing specs.
carcharias is superb But with that price, I'll rather go for Siberia.

Carcharias is uber comfortable when compared to the 4H, sound quality is better but of course, the price is still higher.

orca has no mic, haha. and the 5Hv2 is WAYYY more expensive.. carcharias is in consideration but is it worth the extra RM100?

Just bought a Death Adder (or DA). The size is nice and the shape is great.

The premium in price is subjective. I would think it depends on individual perception. Ever considered the AW TactX headset? Basically a rebadged 5Hv2 but retailing less than RM300.

yea its demo set but not retail one...next week getting retail demo set which is suppose to sound even better...

4H is comfortable enough...but it distorts abit with heavy bass.
Carcharias is more all-rounder than 4H.

just curious but in wat way is the 5Hv2 way better than carcharias?
