Hi,

I've a question regarding my Orochi, I'm using Mac and I wanna ask why every time I switch off my com and when I start it, the "Enable independent X -Y sensitivity" thingy will b untick and I've to always go to enable it over and over again, yet the DPI that I set will stay unchanged. Any idea?

it all depends on what you mean by "better". The Imperator has a newer laser sensor and higher dpi. Most people like this, but some prefer 3.5G infrared and don't use higher dpi.
The Imperator is "thicker" than the DA. Slightly bigger, whereas the DA is longer.
Imperator has firmer clicks than the DA.
Finally, the mouse feels different. Some people prefer the DA shape, and others prefer the Imperator.
So it's very difficult to say which is better. For me, I've tried both and prefer the Imperator.

I was unsure to get which mouse when buying my first gaming mouse.
same with your situation, stuck with DA or Imperator? Price is quite close.
find those review quite useless, because I believe the best is to feel the mouse yourself.
DA v2 is using 3.5G sensor too, almost similar to Imperator. 3500dpi should be enough drool.gif
In the end, I got myself a DA v2.

Go for soft pad should be nice. Currently using Goliathus Speed edition. Smooth and comfort.

well.. im not in a place to say this but i've used speed and control goliathus with a copperhead. personally i think the speed version has UNEVEN surfaces most of the time and thus not very smooth glides (maybe u gotta use it for a few months to make it smooth..idk but i dont like it).

but for the control, i've never felt that way before with a DA, very even and smooth.

btw, what do you guys reccomend most for copperhead? razerzone says hard mats like vespula, but i hate the exactrest

but i thought the exactrest isnt fixed to the mouse pad?
if hard mats, theres always the destructor and the cheaper, sphex.

yup, but it kinda feels its not the full package without the rest and i think it will wear out the btm side of the pad ..

I don't consider Sphex as cheap. After all, it's just a thin layer of mat only.

Thick and durable. Been with me for 3 years +. Wash again and it looks brand new.

but rare to find. + the presence of imitation mantis make it hard for newbies to buy one.

I haven't see the Imperator but I am sure the DA will be better than a Laichesis. BTW I'm a new DA user. The DA's slimmer body is better than the Imperator's squatter one. I think the DA is quite abit cheaper too. Also there is the difference between thesensors. DA uses an infrared while Imperator uses a laser.
