Yes, RT-N10_D1 does support UNIFI. But if your UNIFI package is 30Mbps and above, I would suggest you to go for RT-N12HP and above.

Want to ask which router suitable for TIME internet as the original router provided (dlink) coverage is not strong enough.
Preferable budget below rm300.

May I know what is your TIME Internet speed? If it is 100Mbps and above, I would suggest you to go for router that has 5GHz.

For wide coverage, you can have a look this mode RT-AC55UHP. The SRP now is RM572.

I'm currently using the RT-12N D1 but it is unable to provide coverage for the entire house (double story). Some area wifi strength is weak and speed is below 1Mbps.

Will changing to the RT-AC55UHP increase the coverage area? Currently using the 30Mbps Unifi pending upgrade to 50Mbps.

Hi krofal,

RT-AC55UHP will provide better coverage compare to the RT-N12 D1.

Depending on the house structure and the location the router located, RT-AC55UHP usually will have 1 to 2 signal bar better compared to the RT-N12 D1.

You can even change the RT-N12 D1 to Repeater or Access Point mode to provide WiFi signal coverage.

The current latest firmware for the RT-N56U is 3.0.0.4.380.7378. Try updating it to the latest. Do a factory reset after the update and redo the setting.

As for the IPv6 setting, it is correct as shown by you. If you still unable to get the IPv6, try contacting TM whether your area is IPv6 supported or not.

Ah i did a a firmware check and it said that my current version is the latest.. guess i need to do it manually, thanks. Hopefully all good.

Edit: After upgrading to latest firmware the ip address shows up for ipv6.. but i still can't get it to work, guess i need to contact tm.

Try this:
Enable Router Advertisement > Enable

Apply > Reboot Router

After reboot, turn off both the BTU and the router for 5 minutes
Then start by turning on the BTU, leave it until all lights are stable
After all the lights is stable on the BTU, then turn on the Router

Also, some routers may take up to 5 minutes for the IPv6 to fully load. Not sure why

It works now. It seems that it just takes a while for ipv6 to work. It's definitely around 10min or more for me. Thanks btw

I think the impatient part is the reason why it didn't work.. i had to post again to show the proof that it's ipv6 compared to old post lol

If you mean for TIME ASTRO IPTV then our router can support as it won't effect the IPTV when changing the router.

As for Maxis ASTRO IPTV we unable to support, but no problem for Internet and VOIP.

Currently for router with 2.4GHz 300Mbps, normally you won't get 100Mbps speed beside the LAN port.

That's why you can see the market now more and more dual band router coming out already. 5GHz will have higher transfer rate compare to 2.4GHz but weak in coverage area.

Have a look RT-AC55UHP is you want a better coverage router but this is more expensive(SRP is RM572).

The RT-AC1200G+ SRP RM439 which is around your budget.

If you are using d-link dir 850l now, I don't think you can see much different in RT-AC1200G+.

Are you able to scan the 5GHz signal from the d-link dir 850l? If no, you won't be able to get good speed with 2.4GHz. Make sure your WiFi adapter able to scan the 5GHz.

If you need better performance compare to d-link dir 850l, then you will need to invest more to get a higher end model.

I just bought ASUS Wireless Router RT-N12HP_B1 and to my surprise it works on my MAXIS IPTV without much settings needed, just select the profile during setup and it connects. I'm on firmware 3.0.0.4.380_3479.

Was wondering why I still see threads that you mention Maxis Astro IPTV still not supported?
