back when i was their staff...the answer is this...

"the system will automatically recognized ur call as VOIP call...the system will charge u according to minutes...so ur data will not move.let say u subscribe for VP150, the system will deduct ur minutes from ur free calls...ur data will not be touch."

so if u r on PAYU...u'll see ur credits or rebates deducted. i do understand ur earlier question.

Added on November 4, 2011, 12:28 pmdun forget...YES charge u 9sen for 3MB @ 1 minutes call @ 1 SMS....

Now that answers my question. Thanks muchly. thumbup.gif

Saw on Yes website today, if you perform automatic reload, you are entitled RM5 rebate. So pathetic savings when is only account for 3.33% saving for VP150 and 7% saving for VP68.

I already subscribed into yes few months ago. the rates for me is so expensive. for one night normal surfing (fb, youtube, online reading) sucks my rm 10 credit. -___-"

and the dongle also too vulnerable.

okay for the voice, hm, i don't have Zoom at home so i cannot always test it. but i do have Buzz. with Buzz, always ok. even some of my customer did make IDD call using my Buzz...no echo no lagging.everything okay. if i have the chance with Zoom, i will test it. do give me ur YES mobile number by pm.
*
Hi, since you have the buzz, can you tell me how many hour the battery can stand if use as an modem? when the buzz use as an modem, can the buzz phone receive call at the same time? are the buzz phone able to receive signal better that other device? because we can use internet near window using laptop, but use it as a phone, i cant just alway near window to wait for people call me. hte yes.my website mention about the IMS network, does the IMS network has more coverage that the yes wimax? Thank in advance.

No. If you are adventure enough, Yes go able to run on linux with wimax driver. But the driver still not tested with any open source router.

I got feel it the same before as I used to reload RM10 each time. Not anymore as I paid RM68 package.... Surfing without worried about the data usage... Peaceful... Free 150 minutes call and 150 sms... it does so useful and worth.

People feel expensive, because need to constantly reload when out of credit, and count daily RM usage they used, instead monthly bill like Rm60, pay in one shot.

For wireless bb, pricing is almost the same one, including Yes with Rm68.

Actually YES can be seen cheaper in comparative (although I knew it is not cheap across on wireless BB)
Some telcos charge Rm60 per month, and speed wise can range from 1mb to 3 mbps with 3GB quota.
Yes charged Rm68 for 3.5GB and speed can be more than 5 mbps easily. (at least from experience subscribe until now)

u dun have to worry about battery runs out while using as a modem.bcoz u will need to connect the buzz with USB cable...so it will auto recharge the battery. u still can use it for making+receive calls, and sms.erm, about the signal strength,i think better than dongle (i've used it b4).
