hi guys,

i just subscribed to yes 4g just 3 days ago, already checked my coverage (its covered) but i can barely get any stable signal. how do i terminate my account? can i actually visit their flagship store in lot 10 to do it?
*
You can't. Just use out your remaining credit. Yes does not have a 7 days policy return like P1. If you are lucky, you can try to sell your Dongle on Lowyat for a lower fee and get you $$$$ back.

I think the YES Life VOIP calls count towards the bandwidth quota when you're on YES connection, on top of the free minutes / 9 sen per minute charge. I made a seven minute call and within that period 20MB was gone. Nothing else was downloading on my tab, nor was any other device connected to my Huddle.

Darn it.

Wow, if thats the case i think you better call and complain because at the Yes Support FAQ it states that

QUOTE
2. I'm on the Yes 4G Network. Will I be charged for data used by Yes Life calls and SMS?......
No, you will not be charged for the data usage when making voice calls, video calls and SMS while you are on the Yes 4G Network. Charges may apply when you are using non-Yes internet connections.> Back to top

YES Support FAQ

So it seems there is a bug here. Anyway any of you guys having problem connecting to Yes Life?

I can't seem to connect.

I believe they can only separate voip + data traffic for their own device. Means for zoom and buzz only.

As for yes life + huddle hardly they will configure this properly. Coz yes life will go through Internet traffic rather than private network.

Unless you need the extra RM800 credits in advance, I'd say HSBC promo is more worth it as although the other one gives you RM400 rebates, you can't use them for Value Packs. nod.gif

Another method you can maximize your $$$ is to use those CC with cash rebates and extra points like Maybank 2 AMEX. For RM1199, you get RM50 (max per month) cash rebates and x5 points (equivalent to ~RM25). Agree? brows.gif

Guys

The Huddle's WiFi range - when set to shortest 8dBM - my galaxy tab keeps showing signal only 2/3rd the strength even when there is direct line of sight (less than a meter away). It goes full only when I put the huddle next to the tab. If I turn my back i.e. I put the huddle behind me - WiFi signal strength falls and fluctuates between 1 and 2 - even at less than a meter away - is this normal? I've tried changing the strength in the setup to both medium 11dBm and long 14dBm, with no discernible difference.

For New User,

I suggest u go for the Raya Kit Promo link: http://www.yes.my/v2/say-yes/promo/blaze.do

Compare HSBC and Raya Kit.

HSBC u pay Rm 460 to get Huddle,ID and Rm 150 RC.

Raya Kit u pay Rm 399 to get Huddle, ID and Free Rm 190 Credit ( 1st month rm 30, After 6 months rm 60, another 6 months later Rm 100)

if u already having the ID, go for Rm 1199.

u can use the reload can to reload ur acc and then used the credit to purchase VP or run on PAYU...and also can be used with any ID...for that EPP,not all cards are accepted...if ur card are accepted then u can straight go to yes store and ask about it. choose ur device 1st. 0% interest for EPP...

Complain to them. You may complain on their FB as well. Its work for me.

Connection will far more better. Around 5 to 10 days after you complain

Easy payment plan depends on which CC you'll be using. RM100x12 months is possible too. Too bad, my Amex card is not included. sad.gif
