It always seem that way. YTL seems to like to go in big on launch. After that execution suxs. What's the use of advertisement when the sales & service counter are not up to expectation. I think all we are asking for is quality and not quantity.

If anyone is hearing from YTL, check out Lowyat forum on customer grouses. This is Malaysia number 1 forum.

Secondly, please update the website to be more intuitive and spend less $$$ on paper advertisement.

Bro MonkeyKing,

I'm interested in the Zoom package but confuse with the pricing. It mentions there Zoom for RM399 but free with bundled price and credit of RM1199. In that case, how much do I need to pay and how long is this package for? How is that different to value pack RM68.

Yes Marketing team is really confusing.

Also one more thing. My location is at Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam. Even though the website claims coverage is there, what happens if I do not get any converage?

I think the signal bar does not matter. You should just perform a speedtest just to check.

The bad thing about YTL Yes Wimax is there is no "trial period" unlike P1. Even though there are bound to be possible blind spot, YTL Yes may not be able to confirm. I thought by going to Lot 10 and inquire from the customer service, I could get the answer. In the end the customer service personnel says best not to take it. Anyway, I took it anyway and was lucky enough that the blind spot turn out to be fine.

Yes, I do agree that YTL customer service and website really needs an update. Even their social network site really needs full time staff to attend to queries instead of just posting advert. I don't think YTL management is Internet savvy enough to understand what a social network does. Too bad!

I guess I am not the only one experiencing outage with Yes website usage details. It has been more than a week on a daily basis I have tried to check my usage but each time it shows 0MB. However, 2 days back when I login it says 2.9GB used. Then the next day, it is back to 0MB.

I am also frustrated by such incompetence of the technical team to keep a simple website running. How can we argue on usage fee when we can't even go down to the details.

I think I will give Yes a year since their inception to fix their teething problem since it is fair to assume the management and technical team are still new to this. I suppose so their share price also translate to their poor performance and we will see if the will actually recover in time to come.

I knew this was happening but hope it didn't happen to me. Have subscribe to Yes since Apr. On a daily basis, I have been checking my usage till today. However, since beginning of June, the Usage Details page states 0 MB. While this may appear to be good, I am afraid, come end of the billing cycle, I will be bomb with massive data used. I have raised a ticket with Yes Support, first by calling their support line and subsequently followed up with an email detailing what has happen with screen shots. That was raised on 23-Jun, Thursday. According to the support person it takes 48 hours to get back with a reply. I send an email again yesterday and got this lame ass pathetic reply.

I really don't know what Yes Management is doing. Really depressing. I think I will need to raise a e-Aduan at MCMC again to get some better response. I urge all users facing any problem to start raising e-Aduan via MCMC.

dinwaja, I have a Zoom modem. Just wondering if I can configure a wireless repeater to extend the WiFi range. The Zoom modem WiFi range isn't strong enough for a double story house. I place mine at the living hall, but am getting low signal at my master bedroom which is directly above the living hall.

I think we can basically give up on Yes. Their support and marketing team is basically hopeless. Anyway, I doubt they will ever come up with a good android phone, maybe a cheap one from ZTE, Huawei or CSL.

Terribly disappointed with their service level and marketing scheme.

I thought I can use the telephone feature using Zoom connect to a normal telephone. That itself is not stable. Hmm, back to TM it seems like.

give more details. and also what do u mean by not stable? oh,about the android phone, just dun come up with ur own assumption. totally wrong. we dun use those brand (according to some emails mistakenly sent to me). we also use Cisco equipment for ur info.

Well, after 6 months of waiting without any insight on Yes, I guess everything about Yes is about guessing now.

What I mean by unstable. On the same location I have tried with modem on for 3 months without powering off, with testing on speedtest.net. On the same day testing, morning DL speed is 2.5MB, UP speed is 0.2MB, afternoon speed is 3MB, UP speed is 0.6MB, night time test DL speed is 5MB, UP speed is 0.8MB.

I am not referring to the equipment you are using. I am referring to the possible brand of android phone you are using. While the buzz phone may be from Samsung, just look at the low spec.

If I have yes life on the IPad running and iPad is not sleeping, incoming call rings on the iPad only. If I put the iPad to sleep, only the analog phone connect to the zoom will ring. Even during a Yes life call, I can still call out using the analog phone. But the incoming call will not ring, just a tone on the analog phone to tell there is an incoming call.

But that doesn't answer the question, "can two zoom use the same Yes ID at the same time?"
Anyone tried it personally? I had been getting mix answers, even from YTL. Some say can, others say cannot.
*
Can't answer the iPad and iPhone question.

However, you can connect to Yes with 2 more more Zoom. I have 2 Zoom. Bought it with the intention of using the land line phone. However, after trying many times, I have given up on the phone.

Calling using phone sometimes, the phone never rings. Even if your here it ringing on your side, the land line phone you are calling is not ringing. After a short while, you will enter into voice mail.

Basically, the voice option is really not worth purchasing Zoom.
