Man...the main title should read:

Don't buy until all the DLC are released for the ULTIMATE PACKAGE.

This game is... sigh... Witcher 2 can't come any sooner...

If that's the case, nobody would be talking in here now would they? Since everybody would just be waiting for possibly a whole year.

some of that quest are combined with some other quest, so u just need do all quest along the way
some monster appear in other quest but the item are for herbalist quest.

hey guys.. i don't understand what's the fuss. i personally find the game very enjoyable. i do agree the below need to be fixed:

1. tactical isometric camera
2. more content/areas/etc. basically beside kirkwall all the maps was being reused again and again. Kirkwall feels empty and only the characters and companions looks visually good.. the rest of the NPCs looks crap.
3. ability to change armor/equipment for companion.

that's my only gripe..

lol you're the same then, every is saying is enjoyable but the point that shoot that is what you said. i think nobody here hate the game thou lol.. does any? o_O maybe to those who think DA2 is all about darkspawn. but really DA world isnt just about Darkspawn, there is Orlais, the Qun's and much more dangerous elements in the DA world haven't emerge fully. Is true DA2 is more toward political hench the word "Rise to power" where politics is the real meaning to it. just my 2 cent.

Ya, I did the Magistrate quest already. Picked up every spoils I found and still, the third material is not found. When I finished the Magistrate quest, I went back to the dungeon and it seems I can't enter the center room as it says at the door there as "Exit from Magistrate quest" or something like that. Which is baffling me Ah well, I'll just ditch the quest then... Any consequences on that?

On the side note I see the game as enjoyable if I do not think of it as a direct sequel the DA:O. It's great as a standalone game, should be named Rise of Hawke or something haha

Try finish the game and maybe go for second or third round. It might just takes about 48 hours on normal.

Early excitement does make the game looks interesting. After a while, you will understand some of the complaint.

Great game, if it didn't bear the name of Dragon Age.

Now I try second round on hard mode. Didn't really have the mood to play anymore. The story is almost the same. Nothing much that you do will affect the story at all. Juts slightly different dialogues.

Good game, but feel lack of lots of the great stuffs that define Dragon Age Origin. Most of the things that made it GREAT have been simplified and stripped entirely. I miss the multi branches of storyline.

Btw the choices of conversation is between polite, idiot and *******. I tried to be cool badass character, but ended up being ******* which I couldn't stand. Anyway it won't lead to any consequences, just slightly different reply from npc.

Just my humble opinion

Waiting for more DLC or sequal. The ending is cliff hanging.

There are not gifts in DA2.

Well technically is not a gift, but it does say there the word "gift" instead of "junk".

There are gifts. Sometimes you get items from drops or sometimes you find them from shops (you need to buy them). If I am not mistaken, when you get a gift item, it will open up a companion quest where you have to meet the companion at their house/base to give the item.

Yeah, after gifting the item, it usually becomes an useful weapon in your inventory like the blade of mercy for Fenris.
