I can't believe this...DA2 just blew everything away. The combat, the graphics, the gameplay...It's like medieval ME. Loving it. This is what DAO should've been. Can't wait for DA2 to arrive now. 2 weeks seem like a very long time.

It's ok if you never played the original. It is not like Mass Effect whereby your actions from previous game would affect the current game...at least that's what is on the FAQ. But you'll understand more of the lore and what's happening. Isabella & Flemeth are from the first game.

Guys...do you know why the Blood Dragon Armor is also available in DA2?



WTF...why can't they include the damn Hi-Res pack in another DVD? It's not like a DVD is so expensive! DA:O came in 2 DVDs, why can't they ship this in 2 DVDs too? Why screw PC players with additional download? I know the DVD can be used to play on a Mac too, and since Mac has no DirectX or OpenGL 3.0, thus, they may have left the Hi-Res pack out...but HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE PLAYING ON THEIR MAC?!!!

BTW, you may play the game without the DVD in the drive.

Yes it is a bonus DVD for my CE. Why can't they include everything in a separate DVD for the Signature Edition?

Do you guys notice that when Varric bluffs his naration, like in the beginning, he adds in a lot of really weird stuff?

For example, Bethany's breast in the beginning when he was lying...those are Katy-Perry-Double-D-big... And when you actually played? Well, back to Megan-Fox-B-Cup.

As a fan of Black Isle / Bioware RPG, I think this DA2 is one step forward and two steps back. As a fan, anyone will agree that I'm biased against DA2. When I played the demo, I was awed. After playing the game, I was disappointed.

DAO had most formulas right, although it can't compete with Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment or even Neverwinter Nights. DA2 however, did not inherit any of those great games. It's a lovechild of ME and DAO, but it inherited everything bad about them. For once, I felt I do not want to replay a game from Bioware.

I just hope other RPGs coming this year would be better.

This game breaks my heart like Final Fantasy 13.

I've seen better "action RPG" - namely The Witcher - Enhanced Edition.

This is my take on Dragon Age:

Bioware probably were trying to tell a Medieval Star Wars – Flemeth = Emporer Palpatine.

Dragon Age episode one (appropriately named dragon age origins) wasn't ground breaking, but it revealed the backstory, history and the land just like Phantom Menance. There was a major force challenging peace – an overarcing plot that determine the pace of the story. The story ends with the defeat of the main boss in a full scale war.

Dragon Age episode two is like Attack of the Clones. So much political agendas and just like Star Wars Clone Wars series, I expect a hell lot of DLC/comics/books to bridge the gap between number 2 and number 3 because both stories (DA2 & AotC) were rushed. The Chantry asking for help would actually be the “expansion” when in fact, it should be part of the original game.

Dragon Age episode three would be just like Revenge of the Sith. The Champion would turn to the dark side just like Anakin. Maybe we would be playing Luke/Leia and in a land, far far away, Morrigan & Hero of Feralden – the Grey Warden's child would rise to be Han Solo.

Then, Dragon Age 4, 5 & 6 would be given to either Obsidian or Bethesda. Yeah... My ranting proves how much I'm disappointed by DA2...

Man...the main title should read:

Don't buy until all the DLC are released for the ULTIMATE PACKAGE.

This game is... sigh... Witcher 2 can't come any sooner...

Nobody interested in Mark of Assassin eh?
