if u subscribed 1gig plan etc dont youtube (or streaming website) or download big file. please use wifi. 1gig plan is enough for heavy email, browsing, social netowrk, chatting.

I doubt so, just monitor your data usage all the time.

You have to contact 123 to cancel out the itemized billing monthly. If not mistaken, 1 month notice ahead is needed from you.

Guys.. I got an iphone3gs fr maxis which had just past its 1 year warranty and it got intermittent signal/service. Asked maxis sc and they qouted me rm500 for exchange for a new one. I just like to mnow if anyone experienced this. Any fix? Not sure if its hardware or software related. Just want to know my options. Haven't exchange the phone yet. Currently only using it as an ipod since got no coverage even at my place.

Hi, I'm quite new with the iPhone plan, and after reading most of the things on this forum, I wish to confirm something.

Just for a brief intro:
Plan: Maxis iValue 100.
Phone: Not jailbroken.

Regarding the "Infamous Overcharging", I'm just wondering if I am doing the right thing to protect my self from this. Just a couple of YES & NO question from me for now.

1. Currently, I do download my apps using my computer, then only would I sync it to my phone. I cut down the data usage on my phone for this. This would be a way to 'escape' the Overcharge, correct?

2. If i were to be overcharged (God forbid), I can notice that by simply checking it through *100# > Bill Summary, correct?

Would be glad if anyone could assist me on this one. Thanks.

iPhone 4 16GB Problem – Screen brightness goes totally off, if you look closely you can still see the app icons. It is NOT a problem with a) Auto-Lock b) Brightness c) Auto-Brightness

I am certain it is the hardware problem, I fix it by : 1) Pressing the Sleep button then 2) Pressing the Home button

After doing so, the screen brightness will come back on.
This does not happen every day but when it happens, it occurs every few seconds.
I brought my mum’s faulty iPhone 4 to Maxis Centre, Customer Service to get it repaired, or hopefully, replaced. It is still under warranty.

Problems I faced with the ONLY technician on duty :

a) He said, “The problem you are facing might seem like a problem, but it is not. I experience this myself everyday, I restart my phone daily. I myself am a fan of Apple, if you use the iPod, MacBook, iPad, you would know what I am talking about.”

b) I took out my iPhone 4 32GB for comparison, he said, “Yes, the hardware is exactly the same, but you cannot compare, because the software is different. This is a problem with the software.”
I said, “I have updated both iPhones to iOS 4.3.3, provided by Apple.”
He replied, “That is not the software.”
I went on and showed him in Settings -> General -> About -> Version.
He said, “That is the version, that is not the software.”
I said, "Then WHAT is the software?"
He did not have an answer, avoided my question and went on saying it is a software problem.

Why does Maxis hire such “technicians” to lie to customers? Naïve customers would be deceived into thinking that it is not Maxis’ responsibility, taking away the customer’s rights for their warranty.

I have more information on the technician on duty but don't feel the need as of now for it to be posted here.

I have already got a replacement on the way. I have already reported his name to senior management. The reason I am posting this here is for the rights of the naive customers who would believe such lies.

If there is a problem with the phone, the technican should try his best to fix it instead of deceiving customers.
