Think I am not alone here.

line 1 - ivalue 1, just switch from value plus 50, start from saturday night.  sunday morning unbilled amount 750 in the morning, now 870.  3 local calls to maxis line, 40mb usage.

unbilled amount before switch to ivalue 1, around RM40 - RM50, ZERO data usage.

line 2 - upgrade ivalue 2 on saturday night, unbilled amount 900 in the morning then now 1300.  5 or 6 local calls, maxis or celcom line, 100mb usage.

unbilled amount before upgrade, around RM40 - RM60, data usage before upgrade - 300mb.

How did this happen? I need to check for myself.

Seems like they fixed the problem?

my unbilled amount was RM2+ yesterday night, RM80+ this morning (2 days after purchase, mainly wifi online and sms only).

but now i check it's reduced to RM3+ :S

shall continue to monitor closely for a few days
*
Yup, thanks to all who have reported. At least Maxis took action fast. rclxms.gif

I am unsure about how Maxis is going to charge me, i took iValue 1, credit limit RM100, so meaning i currently unbilled amount is only RM2.85, in the end of the month i will still be paying RM100, so i can actually use all i want? (since its the end of the month)

Bro, try allowing ur Internet Explorer pop-up.. It might help
*
Alright it works, i was using Google Chrome all the time. I switched to Mozilla Firefox and i finally got in. Forgot that Maxis had to unblock the popups to access it.

Now I'm in, i see my Unbilled amount - RM0.00 (as of 07/10/2010)

Payment History - No payment history.

What's the problem? hmm.gif

Hi guys, may i know how do i activate Itemised Billing? I have checked under my Value Added Services and Itemised Billing is checked but i do not get my bill with my call/SMS/3G usage details.

However, it is stated there "If you have previously registered for E-Billing, Itemised Billing will be waived from your monthly bill statement. To continue receiving bill statement via email, Itemised Billing must be subscribed. "

Please help me out here. sad.gif

I bought an iphone4 from maxis, recently my WIFI not running even though it is connected. i need to OFF-ON WIFI in "settings" only can used, is this common or my IP problem?

Need some advise
*
It is not a common problem. It could be your router problem, since your iPhone is new. I have used many iPhone 4s and have not experienced this problem, having to turn off and on the Wi-Fi just to get connected.

hey guys, I'm intending to get ip4 16GB with ivalue 2 with 24 months contract so the iphone would cost RM990 minus the advance payments. Just wondering though, is it possible to actually get another ip4 bounded to this same contract and also get it for RM990. Hope i didnt make any misunderstanding.  biggrin.gif cheers
*
Do you mean getting 2 iPhone 4s with 1 contract? That is not possible.
1 Contract = 1 iPhone

Hope i've helped. smile.gif

Yeah. Maxis 3g speeds can be very fast. It is average around 5mbps in my are (Shah Alam). If only they had an unlimited plan.. I'll be tethering none stop!
*
Yea, i hope Maxis will continue their Unlimited Data plan next year. biggrin.gif
So much better than Streamyx.

iPhone 4 16GB Problem – Screen brightness goes totally off, if you look closely you can still see the app icons. It is NOT a problem with a) Auto-Lock b) Brightness c) Auto-Brightness

I am certain it is the hardware problem, I fix it by : 1) Pressing the Sleep button then 2) Pressing the Home button

After doing so, the screen brightness will come back on.
This does not happen every day but when it happens, it occurs every few seconds.
I brought my mum’s faulty iPhone 4 to Maxis Centre, Customer Service to get it repaired, or hopefully, replaced. It is still under warranty.

Problems I faced with the ONLY technician on duty :

a) He said, “The problem you are facing might seem like a problem, but it is not. I experience this myself everyday, I restart my phone daily. I myself am a fan of Apple, if you use the iPod, MacBook, iPad, you would know what I am talking about.”

b) I took out my iPhone 4 32GB for comparison, he said, “Yes, the hardware is exactly the same, but you cannot compare, because the software is different. This is a problem with the software.”
I said, “I have updated both iPhones to iOS 4.3.3, provided by Apple.”
He replied, “That is not the software.”
I went on and showed him in Settings -> General -> About -> Version.
He said, “That is the version, that is not the software.”
I said, "Then WHAT is the software?"
He did not have an answer, avoided my question and went on saying it is a software problem.

Why does Maxis hire such “technicians” to lie to customers? Naïve customers would be deceived into thinking that it is not Maxis’ responsibility, taking away the customer’s rights for their warranty.

I have more information on the technician on duty but don't feel the need as of now for it to be posted here.

I have already got a replacement on the way. I have already reported his name to senior management. The reason I am posting this here is for the rights of the naive customers who would believe such lies.

If there is a problem with the phone, the technican should try his best to fix it instead of deceiving customers.

@xiaotim - I did not see him taking out his iPhone, I cannot say that he does or does not own an Apple product himself, although it came out of his own mouth that he faces the problem daily.

@multiplexer - I think it is Maxis' fault for hiring amateur technicians. To me, he does not know much about the iPhone himself.

Added on June 28, 2011, 5:25 pm@ubsacc2004 - He was very clear that "the software is different". It was very hard for me to argue with him because he was so confident with his WRONG answers.

Well, technically, the iOs is called firmware

but firmware is also a type of software

dunno what the technician is thinking
*
In layman's terms, the software he is talking about should be the iOS. If you were me you could tell from the start that he is not well versed.

So actually what is the software? tongue.gif

He did not have an answer to that. He shouldn't call himself a technician. I honestly do not understand how he is not fired yet. I'm voicing out right now, to Maxis to train their technicians well.

Anyways, isnt there anybody else there that could help?

I was told there would be 2 technicians on duty during the day and only 1 during the evening. He was the only one there. His answers were too ridiculous.

Pic attached is the technician who "served" me, his name is Ahmad Buhari. If you ever come across him, no point staying, might as well leave immediately.

An update, I changed another iPhone 4 32GB (loose Home and Power button) at KLCC, was served by Ravin. Friendly and phone was replaced in 10 minutes. A WORLD of difference between Ahmad Buhari from Maxis Centre, Gardens and Ravin from KLCC. Ahmad Buhari - Argued for 20 minutes, phone replaced after 7 days (orders from higher management (my friend)). Ravin - No arguements, smiled alot, helpful and so willing to replace my phone even with a minor loose button problem.
