Yes. Apple Singapore will only ship anywhere as long as the address is in singapore. Delivery is FREE!
Regarding the credit card. I am not too sure about that. From my purchase of the Malaysian online store
The transaction is done in singapore itself. So I believe you maybe can use Malaysian Credit card
For American Express(non maybank), you can definitely use it.

You mean, we can use AMEX? biggrin.gif That's great!
But the delivery address is only Singapore, right?

@Edoras,
I don't think you'll b able to use a non-Singapore-based CC as that's what's required by Singapore Online Store.

From what I was told by the iPhone 4 users during the last TT, they said as long you use American Express you can order via UK
I guess it also applies to Singapore online store. The American Express is the original one and not the one by maybank smile.gif

I have edited the first post for all 3 telco pricing.

3. iPhone 4 unlocked units will only be available on the online apple store for now.

hmm what does this mean? it doesn't make sense if unlocked units can be purchased from online store only, in singapore.....

lol i read this a few times and don't understand what you're trying to say. Are you saying we ought to be good little loyal customers and sign up for maxis/digi iphone4 plans in september instead of buying uk/aussie/sing sets?

@a4paper/alieamin > yeah SG data plans are way more generous than ours. Not only for iPhone lah ... you see their wired broadband also got like 100mbps plans, for us most of the country still limited to 1mbps.

Not confirmed yet... cos my friend's iPhone3G[S] was Singtel set, unlocked ... but she had to sign contract to get it, like our Maxis & DiGi sets.

that's why it says "FOR NOW" ...

why doesn't it make sense? the carriers will want people to sign contract... they don't profit from the iPhone anyway...

it means that for now, there hasn't been any confirmation of a physical location for which singaporeans can queue up to buy the phone. For now the only confirmed details we have is that the unlocked iPhone4 will be available for purchase online.

i think he got typo there...uniting could be 'untung'...

now all 3 telco in SG has announced their plan for ip4...seem like the 1st one who make the move will always get disadvantage~..now with m1 and singtel announced the plan...SH price is a bit on high side...

You're getting yourself mixed up in the terminologies here. All iphone sold in SG is unlocked, i.e. you can use it with any other carrier.

But previously with the 3G, you had to sign up for a contract in order to buy an iPhone (not sure if it was the same with the 3G-S).

Compare to Malaysia 3G (for Maxis), you had the option of buying the phone at normal price outright (for usage with hotlink, for example), or buying with contract at subsidized price.
