I'm thinking ... I've got some friends who stay in JB and work in Singapore. Should be OK for me to ask them to buy, bring over the border, and then poslaju to me ... right?
*
will need to send it to your friends company address in sg. Poslaju?? Do u want to take the risk?

@g3n0c|d3,
If U want to claim the 7% GST, U have to do that at the airport, not from the retail store. Also, please check if you can claim the GST 7% if you're purchasing from the Online Store because the AU Online Store doesn't allow U to.

@Puchong_Ling,
I'm going through the posts one by one and still nuking the posts - will delete those in a bit tongue.gif Sabar.... damn a lot of posts to nuke `k? If davidgary73 & I get 1sen from each post nuked, we'll be rich by now!

I believe we can use m'sia credit card (same region) but only ship within sg.

Yah, this make more sense. hmm.gif

@panasonic88,
Er.. shipping 1-3 business days? Er.. where'd U get that information from? Released liow ah?

@jphlau,
Normally, Apple Online Store only recognises local CC.  Hence, if that's the case for the SG Online Store, U'll definitely need a SG CC.
*
Oh sorry, was benchmarking the 3GS sales.

Am assuming it would take 1-3 days too.

@jphlau,
Just insure the package and send via Pos Laju. I know a couple of forumers who does that; even for the iPad biggrin.gif

@panasonic88,
Maybe not - depends on stock levels; UK Online Stores were like 3 weeks! sad.gif

We can send ipod and mac as gift throughout 6 countries in SE asia. So I believe iphone might be one of them if it is available outright.

Thus i believe m'sia cc can be used

SG credit card? How come we cannot use a Malaysia credit card?  hmm.gif

And you guys are right, buy from App Store (Singapore), shipping is FOC, but they only ship within Singapore. Taking 1-3 business day.
*
Yes. Apple Singapore will only ship anywhere as long as the address is in singapore. Delivery is FREE!
Regarding the credit card. I am not too sure about that. From my purchase of the Malaysian online store
The transaction is done in singapore itself. So I believe you maybe can use Malaysian Credit card
For American Express(non maybank), you can definitely use it.

No problem. Found this on the singapore online store regarding payment via malaysian credit card.
Can I place an order using a non-Singapore credit card?- We are unable to accept credit cards issued by banks outside of Singapore.

@azrinarizz,
Include the information in Post #1 so that when people ask the same question over and over again we can give them a piece of our mind smile.gif

@panasonic88,
But if they're selling it only on the Apple Online Store and not in the dealer stores, ur still not gonna be able to walk into an Epicentre or whatever reseller to get the iPhone 4.

It'll be great if someone who's got news on whether the iPhone 4's gonna be available at physical stores update us here biggrin.gif

@dmaestro,
Yes.. these are outright purchase prices from Apple. The subsidised prices from the Telcos.. well, I believe TS will be editing the information on it later.

The iPhone 4 is still unknown if it will be available at physical store. The 3GS is available but it is by Singtel and not Apple. smile.gif

@A4pApEr:
Prices for all 3 telco is still unknown or I have not confirmed the real details. I will do it as soon as it is officially out to avoid confusion tongue.gif

@AlexGTX,
Online Apple Store doesn't accept cash! At this point, we're still not sure if the Apple Resellers will stock it!
