Its the LCD version of the Samsung Galaxy S right? Good phone, but it lags a little. Can be fixed by flashing a new custom rom. Overall, good phone

Which would be the better single core phone now? Desire S, DHD or Incredible? Or would it still be samsung?

need help here!! can't decide... sony xperia x8 or samsung galaxy 5.. my budget would be around the prices of these phones.. ori for g5 and ap for x8... pls give me some recommendation... my current phone is going boom soon!!! lol..
x8 +bigger screen, better resolution, better cam
- using 2.1 (no apps2sd) can be solved by rooting.. but it's too technical for me..
g5 + can be upgraded to 2.2 officially, apps2sd, more updates on 2.2, and smoother performance??
- smaller screen, weak camera
curently, g5 is around 620 ori and x8 ap is 580.. my budget is maximum 620 only..
if there're additional specs i should look into, pls let me know k!! thanks guys!!

SL is a no go. IMO wait for Desire S and buy it instead. Since Incredible S is already quite cheap, i suspect the Desire S will be cheaper.

Better reso HIGHER MP cam. Not better. Bad build quality and fugly outlooking.
G5 is better. I recommend as i use it.

HTC Incredible S or Galaxy Tab wifi only. IIRC its around 399 euro. Converted to RM1250 here.

HTC Desire S if you have a ~1700 budget and Acer Liquid Metal for ~1300 budget.

SL wins in terms of screen, proc and camera
ALM wins in terms of ram, price, build quality and the fact that the aluminium back is present makes it look high class.
