mod (samurai1337) hijack:

Use this thread and follow format below and I guess most members can help up in answering it.

CODE

To request recommendation, what u need to post:

1. Brand. (HTC/Samsug/LG/Motorola/Others?)
2. Budget. (1.5k-2k)
3. Specs. (Processor / RAM / OS Version / screen size)
4. What you need in the phone (Sense UI ? Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor?)

Use this thread only if you really want to get an Android phone but can't decide which one to get. If you are deciding between Nokia / Blackberry / Apple iPhone etc... use this general thread instead

How's the configuration for that? Have a friend who's on the Motorola and he complains about Android being tough to configure and setup....

Not entirely sure what he means but I would prefer if the whole process of downloading and installing aps is made simpler...

Am currently on a Nokia... and the symbian is ok... but I'm just not entirely satisfied with it.... hence the urge to try something different....

"No lag" is due the SGS's Hummingbird processor,
although both Hummingbird and Snapdragon are 1Ghz processor, but the Hummingbird is able to push more pixels, thus giving better gaming experience.
If you're looking for a gaming phone then SGS is superior, otherwise both Desire and SGS are pretty much the same in smoothness.

I would prefer Desire between the two, I find that Desire's build quality and phone design is better compared to SGS. tongue.gif Plus, Desire comes with HTC Sense UI, which the SGS does not.
Desire also carries a cheaper price tag than the SGS.

Add 1 for Desire.
5 mpx camera with flash is better than SGS which has no flash.

Original is price at RM2000 only.
AP at RM1850.

Many sellers at the garage sales section. Can easily find one trusted one and deal via postage.
But the risk is all yours. Better think and consider.
