720p yes, 1080p no. i tried both. when try to opening 1080p it just pop up error saying that video is not supported. also, i think it's very hard to get a 1080p movie under 4GB (unless the movie is very very short) which is the max limit (FAT32 limitation) u can transfer at any one time to your internal sd. I'm just lucky happen to have a movie at 3.9gb. lol.
So happen to have those 1080p demo videos from Sony and Samsung which come in under 4GB because they are split into multiple files and they work just fine. These were converted into MP4 format from MKV. But yeah generally due to the file size restriction of FAT32 we be watching mostly 720p vids anyways although there are a fair bit of 720p that reach 7GB and above due to extra audio etc etc within the file.
