For those bought their SGS from ikano roadshow, how long is your warranty period?

The roadshow guy told me now only 12mths warranty, no more 12+6 months…. Is that true? Do i still need to registered online, as they have taken my warranty card and promise to send for me.

I bought it there with free speaker.

i get a portable rechargeable speaker.

FYI, the will be another roadshow, either lowyat or the curve.

Did anyone record 720p movie clip with SGS?

i tried, and my output file was 3gp….. 720p under 3gp format? It this HD movie format?

Can we predetermine the output file format? For example, mkv, Avi….

1 cent per kb? i heard Maxis is charging 5 cents

I had created few ringtones by using “Ringroid” and added to my sgs,
But how do we remove the ringtone when we don’t need it anymore?

What I mean was, the new ringtone created will appear under

Setting>sound and display >Voice call ringtone/notification ringtone

How do we remove the ringtone from here when we don’t need it?
you knw, song ringtone always outdate…

Bro, thank you. It really work.
For those dun understand, u can go to My file> Media folder> Audio.
Then create 2 separate folders, name it as Ringtones & notifications respectively
And put your mp3 file into the folders.

Then the mp3 will be appear in your ringtone list
You may check it here
Setting>sound and display> voice call ringtone/notification ringtone
To remove the mps from you ringtone list, just delete the mp3 file from your Ringtones/notifications folder.

Can your sgs find you location with GPS in offline situation?

I did this to limit /stop my 3G data usage
Wireless and network>mobile network>Access Point Names>>maxis 3G internet>APN type> select MMS
and I install my 3G watchdog on the day I get my sgs, it shows my usage was 11MB for 7 days….

But I still receive a big surprise from Maxis when I received my 1st bill (7days period)
An RM37.37 extra charge for the excess usage of data

Can anyone tell me which part went wrong? Anyone is facing the same problem?
