how accurate is this information?

1st... isn't this for testing only as the menu said
2nd... it says spirent-lcs... not sprint (US carrier provider)

What does operation mode changing to MS do?
Can you turn off wifi and still use skyhook?

Never had a problem making a call with this phone. In fact, I find call quality and signal strength superior to my previous phone.

This kind of test is not accurate.

The signal bar depends on the base station location. You can't test two different phones under two different networks ... it's impossible to tell whether it's due to the signal from the base station that's degrading or it's the phone problem.

Woohoo just got my SGS from Maxis centre KLCC today. biggrin.gif Heard that Gardens Maxis centre sold out already. When I was there, got at least 3 persons who bought at the same time. Quite an impressive record.

That day I visited Maxis Center KLCC early morning also.. I was the first customer ... and saw the sales person promoting SGS to few peoples.

Very popular indeed !

I choose "apply updated.zip" but it show updated fail.

Do I need to unzip the files and place it at sd card? Or just place the original zip file?

Did you name it update or updated? and make sure its not updated.zip.zip

No need to unzip.

Sorry typo error just now.

update.zip and locate at sd card.

1) I press volume up + power + menu.
2) choose apply update.zip
3) then error message fail.

wrong step??? sad.gif

thx...i already change the config...hope no crash on this one ...

tmr shall giv it a try and see how better it can improve on google map..

say guys...u all using wat GPS apps beside google maps? i try the burt google but it having problem locking my location even i put at outdoor for 20min...feel sienz and del already rclxub.gif

Hmm, that is correct.

i normally apply the two other options as well - forgot what they are called and the apply update.zip

You would lose all data though unless you backup.

There are also two version of the update.zip file. Maybe you can try the other one.

Saw an mms from my friend who distribute Samsung hp. They will bring in juice pack air for Samsung S next month. Damn cun. Will try to post it tomorrow if I remember. Samsung will bring it...logo of Samsung at the back.
