just wanna know, is it okay to charge the i9000's battery while it still has some of its juice on?

mine's running on 28% now and still thnkng whether i shud start chargng or just wait for it to drain off completely

serious no 1 knows how to set the galaxy s to vibrate on call connect & disconnect?

Wanna ask, is Samsung's phone durable as in being in good condition and usable after 2 years at least.

I was thinking of buying Galaxy S instead of Iphone but most of my friends are against it.

They say while the phone was funky Samsung's have a reputation of making phone that couldn't last more than 2 years without having serious issue.

My first Samsung phone lasted 3 years, then it died completely. Cannot revive. I lent it to my friend after I got a new phone, and it died in his care, so I have no idea what happened there.

My second Samsung phone just passed the 2 year mark, but now the speakers are giving me problems - sometimes it'll work, sometimes it won't. This was after 2 years of dropping from various heights, so I'm quite thankful it held out till now, and it gives me the perfect reason to get the SGS.

Woohoo just got my SGS from Maxis centre KLCC today. Heard that Gardens Maxis centre sold out already. When I was there, got at least 3 persons who bought at the same time. Quite an impressive record.

i think rm48 kot.. bcoz my friend also tell me rm48.. but yesterday i call maxis they say rm58 after rebate.. i thought sudah naek harge..

Actually Maxis data plan do give 3GB, it cost RM68 per month (this is the plan after rebate of RM10)

juz got my charger from ebay. like to seek advice if its genuine samsung charger?
as it is advertised as genuine but did not come in ori packaging.
reason given by seller is BULK packaging. got such thing?

happens on my desire too sumtime but usually changing to flightmode and back to get signal it would work pretty fine. A reboot is an option but a painful one la

I downloaded and tested it.. nothing different. I cannot feel faster, just same like old day.
FYI, I download the apps call Quick boot.

I spoke Maxis CS the other day too and he said that we can't check how much we have used so far. And about the billing cycle, i think it's the same for everyone. From 16th-16th of every month.

Tell us what happened?

as long as you can still get to the download screen aka "yellow android at work" then should still be salvagable.

try flashing with odin again, perhaps you have to tick repartition.

if you get white screen when holding volume DOWN + home + power button then you have a problem ( you get it by flashing using odin that is meant for other samsung(captive, etc etc))

if you still get downloading .. do not turn off target, then just flash back the firmware, maybe you just miss few steps or do some steps wrong only

Use odin re-flash the fw again by press down home + vol down + power on key untill the yellow working android robot appear
