Anyone else having problem with their EK nickel blocks? My gtx580s blocks the nickel having problems now and on EK site they announced all nickel block has halted production........

I haven't put the GTX nickel block into the loop...but just wondering if it's ok if I only use distilled water without any other thing?

apparently no matter wut liquid u use base on few forums. personally i only use distilled and mayhem dye. ppl reporting straight distill and coolant also caused problem as well as silver coil and copper sulphate so thats pretty much everything ppl r using in their watercooling.

how can distilled water be corrosive..?

probably quality control issues. i didnt have a problem with corrosion for my aqua computer blocks for my gtx480 before with distill and feser.

u saying aqua block wont have this problem..?

n y its only effect on EK nickle brand?

no reported problems on other brand besides EK, seems to be a big news it was on a few chinese sites as well.

i used to play wc u can probably search my post bout my past rigs, i have since move away from wc now and use a simple h70 for my system. owik probably more pro then me anyways.
