QUOTE(monsh @ Jul 24 2010, 02:04 AM)
u all dont want to spend 5 sec of ur life closing the fill cap then up to u .
there's a reason y the word "precaution" exist

u want to talk about car ?
that's y those inventor created side mirror n rear view mirror and the PRECAUTION move is u LOOK at them when u wanna change lane .
not simply change cause it MIGHT cause accident !

not that it will confirmed cause accident .
but if it happens, then ur car burn and u die as well ?
u want that to happen ? be my guess then .
*
what are u on about? we were talking about how we can release the air bubbles from the loop by opening up the cap and there's no way that u can spill it unless you tilt your rig. and we do realize that closing the cap will still allow the air bubbles to escape nevertheless. but it's just funny how u couldn't agree that it's alright to leave the cap on, UNLESS you go and tilt it real hard. doh.gif

Better U go out there have a cup of teh tarik, ask the teh tarik guy to use a funnel so tht he won't spill off the teh tarik on the floor.

u can open the cap and tilt ur casing... it wont spill, i did lot of time, make sure u hold the reservoir well, if u designed ur loop to be able to remove reservoir to some certain extend...

or u can always plug in a barb to the thread for ur reservoir cap, put a long tubing on it, and tilt ur case... even if it spill, also inside the tubing, and u are safe to tilt what ever direction you want, just making sure the tubing is facing upwards... bleed all u like...

u can use cable ties to temp holding the tubing to face up while u tilt ur case for bleeding laugh.gif

looks like that's the case. might want to change the orientation of the pump there so it goes pump > rad > cpu block > res smile.gif

few days ago coolant spilled over my case right from the top of opened res.
something to do with the reversed pressure in the loop.
recap the res and unscrew the bleeding hole of my rad solved the issue.
ohh how noob i am...

Only those brats who hv eaten too full, nothing to do and sitting in front of the pc daily and being fed by their parents like they were still a baby sucking on pacifier would concern and care for the "post count".

Already a "handicap" and I guess the "post count" and their wc stuff bought by their daddy n mummy would be the only 2 things tht make em feel honourable huh.

When people are corrected for their mistakes, they feel offended. Seriously, this only happens in local forums like here. I've been here since day one and I can tell you it hasn't change but rather became worse. The quality of posts is sometimes just crap so when are we going to improve? I don't see what's wrong with it and disagreement/correction doesn't mean flaming. If our boss don't agree with us and give a negative remark so it means he is scolding and "flaming" us? No wonder we're still stuck at where we are here. Let's be more matured and constructive.

hi bro,

ur fans there bro, is it in pull ? are those CMs ?

congrats on the build bro, a beginers build with multi res 100, that deserve a rclxms.gif personally i like the smaller res over bay res, but thats just me..one thing bout 100 res, it give liltle room for back pressure, so filling it to a certain level is crucial and make sure u tighten the cap hard though.

bleedin res 100 with the cap on or off doesnt really matter. with the cap off u ought to understand the risk involve especially of overflowing when the pump is turn off, as this is when presure will push the level up = overflowing, with litle room above the water line, overflowing when the pump is off is pretty easy to do. with the cap tighly on, u would reduce/eliminate the risk of spilling / overflow, but bleed time might take a hit. up to the installer really...i've used the res 100 before with a shorter tube to the pump and with a more powerful pump, so what i did was put the cap on, bubles will surface and get trap above the water line, so just uncap it, release the trapped air, and put the cap back on, refill when necessary. reduce any overflow risk.
but being a small res, a low water line aint that pretty, a full one is (imo)..so i add a fillport, which lets me fill the res totally, and worry less on overflowing..i think bro lichyetan highlighted this too.

and another thing, flaming, however or whatever ways u spins it, aint cool. a healthy discussion is.

I think you still don't understand the issue. You're literally giving silly examples and crossing the road might also get you run down by a car so we have to wait until midnight when there's no cars to cross the road? Seriously, you really need to discuss things more constructively and maturely. Look at all your comments even in the overclocking thread, I really don't know how to say shakehead.gif

I don't think theres a problem to be safe.. I mean shiit does happen.

either way if u mean by constructive, you should actually politely saying that he is wrong. Saying noob or stuff isn't mature in my dictionary.

FPI = fin per inch... which means number on fin on the radiator per inch of the length of the radiator...

the fin here is the zig zag metal on the radiator... higher FPI doesnt directly relate to higher performance... the heat dissipation of a radiator, much depends on fan used couple with the radiator...

lower FPI (like the ekwb) usually means (not applicable to all radiator) the radiator work nicer with mid/low fan and higher FPI (like the mighty HWlabs GTX and GTS) will need higher rpm fan to really show the FPI power...

and higher rpm fan means higher the noise generation...

Were U trying to say in other countries's forum U can use harse languages and juz bcoz this is M'sia forum, it's not advisable to use harsh languages?

And U have said " a polite country's forum", so does tht mean those forums U can use harse languages are forums frm rude countries? rclxub.gif

So what if high r.p.m. fans with low cfm or static pressure? Only the speed of the fan motor matters?
