FPI = fin per inch... which means number on fin on the radiator per inch of the length of the radiator...

the fin here is the zig zag metal on the radiator... higher FPI doesnt directly relate to higher performance... the heat dissipation of a radiator, much depends on fan used couple with the radiator...

lower FPI (like the ekwb) usually means (not applicable to all radiator) the radiator work nicer with mid/low fan and higher FPI (like the mighty HWlabs GTX and GTS) will need higher rpm fan to really show the FPI power...

and higher rpm fan means higher the noise generation...

So what if high r.p.m. fans with low cfm or static pressure? Only the speed of the fan motor matters?
*
cfm, static pressure, rpm, all actually matters... like the recent silverstone fan really picture that nicely... but from my point of view, rpm plays a big role by pulling air for the fan 1st... no matter how nice the cfm and static pressure, rpm will determine the amount of air pulling in by the fan...

does silverstone will produce the new fans for 120mm in possibly 2k RPM ?
cause i think they only produce 1350RPM for now right ?
that fan is totally sweet for rad ^^,
*
if that 2k really came out, maybe the radiator fin will be bended by it... flex.gif

yes mine 1 is old 1... but i got bubble inside...
*
ur reservoir is revision 2... can outside down... to prevent the buble, by letting coolant in from up and fit a fitting inside the res, then attach a tube to the fitting... or filled the res full...

yeah.. my current status quite broke, that's why the Rasa kit is good for starters.. Only 150 everything included and since i'm first timer it's a good deal. Malaysia currency too small, pay shipping also can pokai around rm 250..
know, but they don't ship internationally + im in canada.. US so close to my place..
*
that is a nice kit, good block and nice and thick rad, just the pump may need upgrade in future with more blocks and rad...
why not consider ekwb kit?

480 thick rad (xspc, sr1, gtx or feser) or 420 rad (sr1 or gtx or ek) enough for 1 gpu or 1 cpu if not super oc... even 360 enough for same case...

but of course dual rad more nice to look at...

the reason the tube became chalky over time cause the platisizer... tygon tube tend to act the way... primochill clear tube will be my choice... it do get chalky but not that intense...

and if u mind the cloudy or chalky tube... can opt for black or color tube... as for the size, my recomendation will be 3/8, 5/8... the 1/2, 3/4 too large and 1/4 tube too small... 3/8, 1/2 will kink easily...
