Credits to our fellow LYN forumer, bro Pogostik for his valuable input on Peugeot 308 VTi/THP maintenance cost.
Worth to note from his words below:

" Here I give you the maintenance cost for both Peugeot 308 THP and VTi.

For the record:
~ the cost is for 6 years (for 5 years or 100,000KM, total cost is RM5601.00)
~ service duration is 10,000KM or 6 months, whichever comes first
~ 308 requires 4.25L of engine oil (fully synthetic), hence the additional 1 litre of engine oil
~ some of the parts price has been reduced. however I couldn't find the latest price for those parts. "


& to answer both questions by bro Lover below :

In term of maintenance cost, comparison table above clearly shows that the total maintenance cost if we use the fully synthetic oil will be lower (though slightly) than the mineral oil (for Forte). It justifies my previous statement that it will save us in a long run. So, in term of maintenance cost, use fully syn oil is better. If we take into account the extra time to spare, extra fuel to burn & extra effort to be done if we use the mineral oil (coz have to go to SC every 5k km if we use mineral oil as compared to every 10k if we use fully syn oil), it is even worth it to opt for fully syn oil

please take note all fortezen, if ur car got strike by birds' drop, u better clean it off as soon as posible as prolong of doing so, it will stained permemantly. it happened to me. Now my car has an unremoveable patch of yellowish stained!!

Just use the Turtle Wax Bug & Tar Remover. Apply on the patch and leave for ard 30sec or so. Then rub it off. That should do it.

Rinse with water, use the car wash cloth with normal car wash shampoo (make sure got lots of bubble) and clean it up. Don't use dry cloth or tissue to wipe it away or else you will regret it.
