QUOTE(izputra @ Jul 23 2010, 01:26 PM) For both versions of Forte 1.6, it uses hydraulic power steering which will give that kind of characteristics (heavy during stop/slow but lighter at higher speed). Forte 2.0 instead uses MDPS (motor driven power steering) where the electric motor are used to assist the steering effort. MDPS is designed in such a way that it usually gives the opposite characteristics than the hydraulic one which is lighter at stop/low speed (for easier parking manuever) & will becomes heavier at higher speed. Personally for not-a-raceboy like me, i prefer the MDPS characteristic Added on July 23, 2010, 1:28 pmThat's correct Yea exactly,i also prefer the MDPS characteristic..Cuz when i drove the Forte 1.6 ,i just couldnt accept the fact the steering is light at high speeds.Maybe its just me,but anyway, overall Forte is still a value buy car lah .

QUOTE(yhlee12 @ Jul 23 2010, 09:00 AM) if include guarantor? lepas tak? even got guarantor also I couldnt afford to pay it the monthly installment as I am currently paying the installment for my house d lo ...damn NAZA, delayed the 2.0 until May this year..... They shouldn't have expected customer to stay put for almost 5 months for the car delivery + they didn't even give an estimation of waiting duration....SA n Branch Manager just say dunno la...no idea la....fark up company.....selling car for the sake of earning $$$ without providing enough service + consideration towards the customer....wonder how it can take up so many franchaise ( PUG, CHEVROLET, FERRARI..etc) + surviving that long...damn...damn kronies....

Luckily the NHC also got this MDPS thingy or also knows as EPS in Honda vocabulary. It suits u well then How i wish my Forte also come with the 5-speed auto-trans, paddle-shift & power retractable door mirror like your NHC This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 23 2010, 02:50 PM

QUOTE(c30238 @ Jul 23 2010, 08:24 AM) Hi, the basic calculation will be your total commitment (monthly payment to properties loan, car loan, personal loan, credit cards etc) should not exceed 50% of your basic salary. If more than 50%, very high chances loan will not approve. normally around 1/3 of the salary den should be ok Added on July 23, 2010, 5:41 pmby the way im getting my baby tomorow finally.. anything that i need to give more concern and take care off? Check odo meter, brand new car usually less than 20-30km depends, if it is too much and reasons they r giving is unacceptable, then u can shoot them for compensation. Cheers and welcome to the family!!
