Samsung has confirmed there's no Nexus 2.

Why don you ask your friend get it from store for you? Ask him/her to look for 3 store and ask coz they selling a sim free version. Still got time though.
If you order from 3rd party company (online) definetly will be out of stock as people have been pre-ordered it since sept.

Any source? BTW don like Samsung products, cos livetime of the product sure shorter than others competitors...

really? I just checked their website (three.co.uk) and I dont see them selling the phone sim free.anyway I think it maybe a little late already coz he should be boarding the plane today. wouldnt want to bother him by rushing him in the last minute

but some source said that there is still nexus two and delayed until next year(due to hardware problem)

thanks... but Samsung product did not attracts me... anything they make will last around 3 yrs + only...

lol. Samsung confirmed that THEY will not be making the Nexus 2, they didn't say anything about the non-existence of the N2.

does a sim free phone from 3 also means that it is unbranded? Or do I need to de-brand it still? coz I have an AP set N95 8gb which I de-branded after firmware flashing it coz it only spoke italian after firmware flash! lol

haha... i read that too... that's why i wonder why the rumors is out again
BTW if Google pass the ball to Samsung then it is a big mistake... maybe it is just my personal experience that kill my intention to get a Samsung product in the future...

Serious hardware issue just like the current SGS?

The SGS has no hardware issues ONLY poor implementation of software loading, execution from it's built-in internal memory. GPS I also believe is software related. There were times I do get excellent and quick immediate gps lockup but mostly have to wait up to half to a minute or so
