If you did, you would be able to select the new sounds under SOUNDS & NOTIFICATIONS.....

yup i did copy them to the /windows folder. I can select them for the alarm, but when i tried to play them to listen to, there was no sound. Possibly because its a different format? i dunno... This post has been edited by qwerty84: Aug 11 2006, 10:38 PM

Possibly because its a different format? i dunno... If different format which is not supported then it won't show. Could it be your wav file is too big? I remember I tried to use a .wav song as an alarm/notification and it wouldn't work as it was too big. Might just be my own device only though...

QUOTE(avantgarde84 @ Aug 11 2006, 02:58 PM) Another question: I intend to get a 1GB Kingston SD card later from PC fair, but I read that also got some super hi-speed cards with 80X or even faster speeds. Does the Mini support those kind of cards? Or only conventional cards? Anyone with experience pls advise... get twinmos 1GB, 150X speed.. life time warranty..

Install this soft into UR PDA and walla can cut mp3 section that you like and set directly the ringtone as your default ringtone! Suf to www.VitoTechnology.com. er actually what i meant was that i wanted a program to cut short the mp3s on my pc so that when i convert it'll be shorter/ or that i could edit my wav files smaller.
UPDATE: i realised that though i could not test play the .wav file at the notifications area, i just tried to use it as an alarm tone anyway and the sound does play, just that somehow it doesn't work in the preview tones.

Hi guys, i searched the net and i found a nice program if any of you ppl are interested. its freeware and it can help you crop/edit/mix your mp3s and also convert them to .wav files. i've tried it already and its quite easy to learn how. link is at http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multime...X_Download.htmlalso i've managed to crop the intro to meant to live by switchfoot. file is a little big at 800+k let me know if you want it. i can also make it better/poorer quality for you if you want. thanks

I bought Kingston 1GB Elite Pro at PC fair for RM87. No Twinmos for sale.
Also, PDA Expert said they sell ori Mini silicone casing for RM40 at their shops. I asked them for Mini trade in value, and apparently for one yr plus model of average condition they take for 600+. Mine was valued at 850!

Digilife: The kingston I bought is SD card. I believe SD is faster than MMC lor. But although my SD is the 50X one I dont think got big difference kua. I just buy for fun only.
Menmissed: Yup, the guy at the PDA Expert booth told me so. Monday I going Lowyat check out the silicone casing. For that price dunno is cheap or not but PDA Expert prices memang a bit higher la. There can check other shops and see. Once I buy on MOnday will post again. You mentioned about aluminium casing? is that the one with the door that can open and close at the side?
