Real story or not, Reina won't leave. He's one of the indispensable players in Liverpool.

ARSENAL have launched a stunning £23million raid for Liverpool keeper Pepe Reina.

Arsene Wenger sees the Kop star as the man to solve his problem position.
And the Gunners boss is prepared to go up to £25m to land the Spaniard.
But Wenger knows he faces a massive battle to lure one of Liverpool's prize assets away from Anfield. He had been eyeing Fulham's Mark Schwarzer but the chance of getting Reina, 27, is far more mouth-watering.
Reina, a £6million buy from Villarreal five years ago, signed a new six-year deal at Liverpool in April.
He missed Thursday's Europa League win over Rabotnicki after only returning to training on Monday - together with the rest of the club's Spanish and Dutch World Cup stars.
Wenger is desperate to sign a top keeper after both Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski copped a stream of criticism for a series of clangers over the past 12 months.
But Liverpool insist they do not want - or need - to sell any of their big stars.
And the prospect of new ownership bringing a huge cash injection to Anfield leaves Wenger with a major fight on his hands.

hahahahahahahahaha. i find this funny though thumbup.gif if reina is to leave us, i only see him leaving back to barcelona, back then there was some talk that he could take over valdez's place but nothing was solid though. anyways, more serious matters, glad to see pacheco's intention to fight for some chance, the game against rabotnicki was an easy one if anything and at times the young man seems nervous. he's probably weary from his outing in the recent u-19 tourney.

i agree that torres do lack that " passion for the club " attitude. I can't really see it from him, but he's not blamable as he knows that he deserve more than what we could give him at the moment.

If the offer come from ManCity, or even ManU, then may be.

AW is not known to spend so big one.

Yes, Reina is very good keeper.
It especially worth for those chasing for trophy one, as a good keeper can mean very significant on the outcome of result, as a win vs a draw can mean very significant on title challenging for top team.

Added on August 7, 2010, 4:42 pmBtw, top or best players not necessary good candidate for captain.

reina more passionate about the club than torres ? that is up for debate but imo reina is a good choice because of his outgoing personality rclxms.gif

Joe Cole debut

This is great stuff. I really love his skills, movements and passes. The feel good factor is coming back to Anfield.

EDIT: How do I embed a Youtube video on a post?
