I think any OS also can run on mobile phone. The hardware itself only recognise 0 and 1. It does not care which OS, as long as you can code the drivers for it to work, it will work. Thats why Nokia failed. Nokia sells phone, not platform/OS.
Haha cloudy, not a problem wat. I saw win95 in N95, warcraft on N95... Lot of emulator on N95.... I use to play nes n snes in N95....
Loe, sgs keep u 6 month.. Swt..... I think it can keep me on it 2 years..... LoL..... Nokia vs Android r a bit like last time pc vs mac. The entire world programmer vs 1 company's programmer.... End up u know where mac going.....

This is terribly wrong. If it can work out like that, someone should code the driver and install Windows 7 on it. Or perhaps OSX.

The Hoo-Haa of SGS is only the Super AMOLED 4" and it's good browsing experience. Only both of these should keep me comfy for 6~8 months. If Gingerbread offered more features, then maybe I will use SGS a little more longer.

Hummingbird powerful... It take snapdragon duo core to match it performance.....

In real time experience, SGS is fast. SGS have great hardware but the current version of OS is bad utilizing so it seems a waste. Froyo will make it better with better hardware utilization. Good hardware means nothing if the OS could not utilize it well.

Just wait a few years and see la.. The hardware still not fast enough for Win7. This kind of project requires an enthusiast to do one. Just like how they port Win95 over. Just not the time yet. ARM is based on RISC and has fewer instructions that x86 CISC. I think mayb with dual core 2GHz, someone godly programmer might feel bored enough and do this for a show or something.
I've been using alot of phone, but seems someone just look down at me think that android phone only lack green and red call button with emoticons, wanna make fun of me. Geez, what's with people these day?

My apology is you felt offended, it was meant as teasing cum joke nia...
i love AMOLED,i love HDMI,i love USB-OTG,i love 12MP,i love GARMIN,i love XENON.this kinda combination cant found in any other phone except N8.thats y i choose N8.of coz for screen i prefer Super AMOLED, N8 lack of double LED for video recording purposes, 1ghz,512mb ram,nHD which is disadvantages.
huh?now u only know?but nokia claim that N8 is multimedia device which focus on multimedia performance so that is fast GPU only.and simplified code for symbian dont need high CPU.but i want more...higher CPU and higher ram.
