N8 are not comparable to those top end Android... if compare to like Legend, milestone... etc.. it should be comparable price.. Milestone AP set pretty cheap now.. |

QUOTE(nicholasbeh @ Jul 13 2010, 11:28 PM) Mr BuFung.N8 y not comparable to top end android?N8 60 frames/s for the screen how about android?HDMI output how about Android?compare in terms of?multimedia?N8 wins Android 99999999999999999 roads. to me biggest drawback ... 3 things.. 1.Screen resolution.... some time u really frust while surf on the nHD resolution screen ... where top phone like Desire/Galaxy S with much much higher resolution which u can surf with much more pleasure... yet to mention SuperAMOLED 2. CPU speed/RAM.. I doubt N8 able to beat those 1Ghz CPU, with the new Froyo out.. they are even faster ... 3. OS/Software.. I don't think Symbian able to keep up with Android... what I see at the moment, the Symbian^3 are only more on cosmetic change from the S60V5.... I doubt it is stable.. typical Nokia... and most application symbian have are aging... so yester year....if N8 can adress the no.1 and 2.. I would say it is in the position to fight with top Android n the I4..... sadly... even the symbianguru webpage also closing down and the founder jumping ship to Android..... haiz.... |

QUOTE(murv90 @ Jul 18 2010, 10:34 PM) look like android... but this is a Symbian^4..... QUOTE(zero_kbom @ Jul 18 2010, 10:36 PM) N8 (Symbian^3) support both Qt apps and old S60v5 apps. Hence I think dat it'll work. not a must... even some software run on S60V3 in 1 phone not neccessary it will run on another S60V3 in another phone...And I'm really digging on Symbian^4 rite now. Too bad I'm dead set on buying N900 lol |

QUOTE(BBXiong @ Jul 19 2010, 02:49 PM) that one is actually cos s60v3 got pre-FP, FP-1, FP-2...but so far i see s60v5's application works the same on the phones running on it.. even different features pack also have compatibility issue... so there is chances the Gramin will not run on S^3...compatibility issue only happens last time when u are running an app that is build for another feature pack same too...but i do hope they improve the GPS signal also, sometimes the GPS is still a little off never really used Nokia Maps before, izit better then garmin? OviMap kind of sux... every time I use, the route it select also send me to Tong San... |

QUOTE(kaigraphy @ Jul 19 2010, 06:21 PM) we just have to wait for n8 to be release and somebody 2 try garmin on it...maybe you can call me an optimistic... but so far all point like backward compatibility for the n8 to run s605th seem to suggest its gonna run...of cause you could be right but after looking at n8 backward compatibility, I'm on the optimistic side... good to be optimistic... don't read me wrong.. I m not saying it can't run.. I am saying it have chance to not run... too bad can't email gramin about this.. the discountinue the graminXT.... |

MultiTouch have too many possibility.. can do a lot of things...
1 thing is u can type faster.. eg.. like u can push a shift key like what u did in a real keyboard.... U can press multi key while playing game.. etc etc... not just for zooming... |
