u better buy two gtx460 for SLI if u wanna buy 5970. coz 460 SLI wins 5970 and also cheaper!!
*
HEHE..i know that cheaper..rm1600 to get SLI.. thumbup.gif

BUT..mine mobo only support CFX..if change mobo also need money, what AMD mobo support SLI and high-end?..i can't find it so far..CIVEX,that coz a bomb(must be xpensive than formula and still not out yet)..
and i saw the benchmark about it HERE and the result not all the time GTX 460 SLI tapau HD5970,it depends on game and resolution but i impressed with the DX11 tensellation on GTX460..

in my situation here,i'm not gonna spend more money to change mobo and don't want to drag my 2010 rig project to the 2011..i got new vision on 2011.. brows.gif

future is fusion.. tongue.gif

Those are benchmarking only.
1x Radeon HD5970 still win 2x GeForce GTX460 SLi in most "real" games(like 96%-99%) and even DirectX 11 games too.

If it doesn't affect your performance or gives you bugs, then, OK.
But, I would recommend you to do a FULL CLEAN RE-INSTALLATION of your driver. To play safe. tongue.gif

Hihi, is it worth to get 5750 Vapor-X at 450myr? Not in hurry to get a graphic card, worth to wait till October for upcoming series refresh? Thanks.

Heard elsewhere, GT450 is going to head to head with 5750, at least in performance...

yeah dats true..benchmark juz a figure but come to game it no differ..above 60fps is a very good enough consider our lcd refresh rate at 60hz..too much fps force user to on vsync in the way to overcome screen tearing problem, lock at 60fps..

Correct me if i'm wrong.. hmm.gif

i agreed.... coz i'm using GTX 460 in SLI mode now.... is very troublesome... due to still have a lot of games can't support SLI or cross fire.... after i upgrade i only know the pro and cons... now i plan to switch to HD 5870 or 5970 later.... just that AMD Redeon don have physX and CUDA for 3D application only... for gaming is better then nVidia...

Nope. Most 3D Applications uses OpenGL. It means it can utilize Nvidia CUDA and ATi/AMD Stream(something same as CUDA but it's from AMD/ATi).

Yes. SLi/CFX always have this problem. That's why usually, it's recommended to CFX/SLi high-end GPUs.
So, even, if the game can't utilize SLI/CFX, you can still get decent FPS.
By the way, GeForce GTX460 is considered as high-end already even though it's cheap.

GTX 460 is still consider is a mid range GC.... not high-end... if i know the pro and cons i think i'll take GTX 480 or HD 5970 with less problem....

GeForce GTX480 is very hot, very power consuming and noisy even it won't spoil due to this.
Still, you need to take concern about that.
Usually, I saw a lot of enthusiasts in LYN who use GeForce GTX480 will put WC on it.

It's on the almighty Wikipedia. I guess, it's true.
WOOOO! The Radeon HD6800-Series use 512-bit Bandwidth! COOL!
It seduced me.
But, I'll hold my money. >.< Hopefully. LOL.
