Try buying a product from let's say sold in SG. Register yourself in the US for extended warranty... Guess what, no luck...
Try Buying a MMOG US edition... Then subsequently buy a EU expansion... too bad, that didn't work in FFXI and I highly doubt that works in FFXIV
My point is this. How many registered in square enix for beta. If they want to keep that account, they can buy that particular version and register.
If a person has a US version but a UK account, would that be a problem? hell no!
Just reopen another US version...
