Hi can I know how much is it for the track light?
What's the usual price for it. I'm looking into it cos I might not want to do plaster ceiling.

The track is very cheap. About RM35 for 3 meters. Is the light and bulb that is expensive.

I bought the light fixture at Rm100 each and Philips MR16 LED bulbs for around Rm70 or Rm80 each
so it's about Rm200 for each track light fixture

But it's very good type, heavy and solid. Made in Taiwan I think

Depends on the height of your lights. I got some that are about 8 feet, I can feel some heat but not as bad as halogen.
You only feel the heat if its aim directly at where you are at. Normally track lights are placed near walls and shooting at the walls, you won't get the heat.

I need some help here. I was thinking whether or not to get plaster ceiling for my new condo of 1300 sqft. The cost of plain board for full house including LEDs and LED board is RM6.3k which I think is quite costly. Can someone tell me the pros and cons of plaster ceiling and what options of lights do I have if I do not do?

Having similar problem as you.

Instead of plaster ceiling, I am going for surface mounted downlights.

I heard feedback if the unit is too tall, without plaster ceiling will look awkward. Aesthetic wise, plaster ceiling will be better. Thanks what I heard la

Hi, can I know is that any LED track light can change color? From white light to warm light? Adjustable brightness?
What is the brand and roughly the price? Hope to hear from anyone that have experience or information on this. Thank you.

2700k-5000k is fine.

2700k-3500k are warm white.

For local here and specially Chinese, are not so like about warm white. Prefer daylight. That 1 of the cause that lead them into buying the crazy 6500k bright.

Those 6500k are blue white. Since it have some blue, the color render out is not correct.

Example, the red thing you see under this led light is not the actual red. If you take it out under the sun, the red thing is different color.

The measurement for this color rendering is call CRI.

Just to add, there are several youtube videos that demonstrate colour resolution index, e.g. https://youtu.be/O_FsKhhRf_A . Some LCD lamps have the CRI marked on the box.
